  • Wow, gweat videow.

  • "Oh my....oh my God...WOW...well....well it's worth the money i can tell you that much" WTF! You didn't even pluged it! Oh yeah...it's an Apple, and it's shiny, nothing else matters, like the 1500$ price tag.

  • take that ol ass bandaid off guy lol

  • What processor is in it?

  • yellow toothpick: HEY!!! i loosened it up for you!!!

    green toothpick: sure...

    hahaha

oh the screen is nice too...

  • Good news Everyone!!!!...The GREEN Toothpick has Done the Job!!!!

  • this is a powa adaptour

  • @Zepp710 LMAO

  • nice video, helped with what should be in the box at least, you sound like youre from new york more than la, thanks for the vid

  • you spent half of the video on mannuals

  • with 300 euros you can get a 32" lg fullhd tv,and i can easly use it as a monitor for my pc

  • kp

    kp

    kp

    kp

    are you a idiot?

  • Where did you buy this from? it appears apple don't have then on their website

    -Oliver

  • @ollieblade can get them refurbished now....

  • I have a LG screen and it is cheaper than apple i have 32 inch

    why u give 1200 dollar for a screen ? ?

  • you know you should have gotten the iPick to go along with your iLife, then you would have opened that iBox in less than a blink of an i......

  • loody knife!

  • 1600 bucks on a flippin' cinema display, and you can't afford a b.

  • Wow, who would have thought it would of taken 6 minutes and 37 seconds 6:37 to take a monitor out of a fucking box!

  • could you connect it to a normal pc?

  • @MOE23451 i really want to know this too

  • dude i love your vids no homo and i am thinking about getting a mec pro and an led cinema display i ve watched a couple of your vids and i think you should use a knife

  • can you use it by just connecting it to a macbook?

  • They are releasing the 27" cinema displays in September at £635. this thing retails for £1200 alone, so you can get two 27" displays with higher resolution, better contrast ratio and better brightness for just £70 more and your getting 54" worth of screen rather than 30". I know this video was posted waaaaay before Apple announced the 27" displays but i strongly disagree with this particular display, its too expensive for what it is and doesn't give enough but Apple have really improved now.

  • @BIGFLOPPYBEEF94 actually they wont have as good of ratio as the 30" cinima displays, and IMO dont look as good. The 30" screen has a 2560-by-1600, and the 27 only has a 2560-by-1440 ratio.

  • @Rlnthndr I have the 24" cinema display and when i went to the Apple store to look at the 30" the colours looked washed, its a complete different type of screen, i don't really know how to describe it but the colours were nowhere near as vibrant and considering the price, its not acceptable. And to be honest the 27" ones will come out at £650 and have almost the same pixel density as the 30" which is just under twice as much so the 27" is amazing in that respect :)

  • @BIGFLOPPYBEEF94 I dont like how apples LEDs are all glossy. My macbook has the high res glossy screen and it bugs me. I like the mattie finish of the older monitors much better. When the 27" comes out I will be first in line for the 30" monitors at their onsale clear the remaining stock price.

  • @Rlnthndr Im going for dual 27's on my Mac Pro when they are released and its going to be well out of the sun so i shouldn't get any glare and thats the only draw back for me with the glossy screens, they have a lot of glare but besides that they are awesome.

  • can i use this display for windows too ?

  • probably a silly question but why does it have a fire wire and a usb cable aswell?

  • you waskly wabit

  • Whoa! That is huge!

  • Hahaha, some needs a speech theropist...... Na im sorry, nice screen mate.

  • He cant say "w" words very good

  • POWER ADAPTA LOL

  • lol after you bought that u cant afford a knife so u bought some tooth picks lol jk. very nice i wanna get one to game on!

  • why is so f*ckin' expensive?

  • @iappzone That little Apple logo on the bottom. Haha

  • you are too funny man, In the last video also you were funny and this time you broke the toothpick

  • My screen is like... 17" only like the half of urs. oh man how big must urs be ;I

  • Use a knife moron. What a waste of money that was, you can a HD tv for cheaper and use it as a far better display.

  • JUST GET A KNIFE

  • you sound like somone from southpark

  • It looks fucking amazing!

Just saw one in a store today, but it costs $1800 bucks.

  • the first two minunts is hi showing off his bainaid and breaking the toothpick

  • spent all his money on a cinema display that he didint have enough for a knife

  • why spend $1700 on a fucking display

  • @MrKhawal69 You are right! He is fucking spoiled!!!

  • what reason to caught unboxing if you don't know all components and can't nicely explain

  • Did he jizz a little over this display?

  • @moodi12 ha ha ha

  • DAMN.

  • why dont u just use a knife

  • this thing is huge

  • this thing is huge

  • i thought that that was the power cable, not visual

  • funny Voice

  • im sorry but your voice is hilarious

  • Born and raised in LA.

    kp

  • @TheMarkBarrettShow2

New Yorkers don't have an accent...

  • whats a cinema display?? Like is just a better computer or something? or some kind of apple tv

  • It's a computer monitor. A screen. NOT a computer.

    kp

  • its screen

  • @iphonebeasty "cinema display" is just the name apple gave it.

  • @iphonebeasty how can u be that stupid

  • i need one of these to connect to my mbp...serious product

  • you sound like Angel Batista from Dexter xD

  • it doesn´t matter

  • I dont get why you dont use a knife or even a pen!!

  • it seems that yellow toothpicks are stupid compared to green ones

  • at 9:25 there is sumthing covered in foam is dat da dvi?

  • "this is soo huge"

    Thats what she said ;D

  • you sound like homestarrunner

  • why dont they just make real TVs.

  • *opens box*

    HIM: OMG FREAKING GOD

  • your annoying toothpicks piss me off. just use it and say nothing about it! nobody gives a crap about the stupid toothpicks you use. And seriously?!? use a freaking pair of scissors.

  • dude your badaid is coming off!!!and can you soom out alitt;e!!!!

  • your obsessed with toothpicks.

  • Hey guy, bigMac fan here. Don't listen to all the haters. The monitor rocks. Tanks for the upload.

  • The reason this one would be bigger than the iMac 27" is probably because the iMac had a big space of apple sign. Unlike this 30" one, it has a small apple sign, so it doesn't waste any space of the display.

    EpiCPeTwARsFaN,

    Friend Code: NSGSBUG

    EPW.

  • Wow! Money well spent, my friend, what a feat! Now, let's see if you can save a few extra bucks for much more reliable Band-Aids (4:25)

    :)

  • please someone answer this: is there a way to connect my PS3 to the cinema display? my PS3 has these ports outputs:

AV Multi (Simple AV OR Component cable. basically analog output)

Optical (i think it is only for sound though)

    HDMI

Someone answer this question, i have a 19'' TV ONLY AV input!!! i like though because i don't want a better one for seeing television... BUT i want to play games nicely. ANYONE WHO KNOWS ANSWER THE QUESTION THANKS.

  • @bhuadotolis cinema display has a DVI port so just buy a hdmi to dvi cable and that'll work fine

  • The 24in apple display looks better then the 30in

  • You cant get full resolution out of that monitor without DUAL LINK DVI

  • @GODZILLAMANASS Why?

  • Because single-link DVI only has enough pins to support the bandwidth for 1920x1200, not 2560x1600.

  • he wanted to say designed in apple by california xD

    Great display, but expensive :(

  • don't you get blind with this kind of huge monitors? Seriously

  • its an R <------

  • Bwoke...pwo's...lol

  • useoys guide lol

  • why the hell u useing tooth pick 4?

  • May be instead of the toothpick you could spend some time learning about DVI posrts. You ordered a display and you have no clue what kind of video connection it has?

  • haaaachoooo!!! BOOM! damn...

  • geee! dont you have a cutter - damn toothpick so lame but great apple monitor - congrats and enjoy!

  • HOLY SHIT i thought it was on a desk....TILL I SAW HIS FOOT!!!! THATS A HUGE BITCH

  • Beutiful

  • You should have your tongue cut off more...

  • omg wicked god rofl hehehe

  • Question: What you call the Visual Cable, How did you connect that to a DVI Port on your Mac Pro ? I have A Mac Mini & it has a DVI. I would like to buy a similar Apple Cinema Display, but how would I hook it to my Mini's Video Card which only has DVI ? Thank you.

  • it is DVI he was using the term visual cable most likley because it just slipped his mind

  • I saw this at the Apple store, and I was like wow.

  • i have seen the light! i changed from microsoft 2 APPLE (although they should cut the price)

  • 04:29 o no ur band aid is coming off!!!

  • heres a good lesson get a metal toothpick

  • oh my fweakin gawd lol

  • Nice video. Can i hook my 160GB PS3 to it?

  • Holy cwap :D

  • can you play a xbox 360 on it

  • Does the apple display work on a regular pc computer?

or do you have to buy an adapter?

  • Yes, as long as you have a DVI connection on your video card.

    kp

  • This may sound stupid.

    but whats the Dvi connection?

  • A DVI connection, is a display connection which connects your graphics card to your monitor, allowing your computer to display images on a screen.

Google it also, when you see it, it helps.

    kp

  • So if you don't have a dvi connection, can you just buy an adapter?

  • Yeah, you can use a VGA-DVI adapter, you will not be able to get the full 2560*1600 resolution though because VGA can only output 2048*1536 resolution.

    kp

  • @kpappletech u r real rich man...

  • so your a unboxing fiend??

  • get some frikin scissors man!!stop using a toothpick

  • if i buy that display would i need to buy anything else

  • What do you mean. The display is just a display. Not a computer.

    kp

  • if u like pretending that ur using a computer, then yeah

  • Kp is back and i'm back lol

  • 4:57

  • haha

    fart

    HERE WE GO

  • i have never really worked with firewire before, can someone tell what u would use it 4?

  • older cameras use it. :) there are other devices too.

  • Hahah the tooth pick is your trade mark on Unboxing nice one man I have one on my room

  • Can this be used with windows? i mean.. is this just for apple devices or for all

  • Of course. You can use this display with ANY computer.

As long as you have a DVI connection, which is present on almost all graphics cards today.

    kp

  • Hey Im thinking of getting these and I know I should know this but could it replace my tv I have an old sony tv and if this could replace that to that would be great please respond.

  • This isn't intended as a TV replacement. The 2560*1600 pixel resolution would be too dense and hard to see, if you are used to a HDTV resolution. I don't suggest to get this as a TV replacement.

    kp

  • can you plug apple tv into the apple display?

  • yes but it wont utilise the full 2560 x 1600 pixels.

  • IM JUST SO ASTONISHED....

  • Your accent is awesome, and so is the unboxing! Well done! :)

  • It's funny, I think you own everything that you'd find in an Apple store. BTW, did you really save up for that thing, or did mommy and daddy buy that for you?

  • No. My 'mommy and daddy' live in London. I work hard, get money, and buy stuff.

    kp

  • If I remember correctly, in one of your previous videos you stated that your dad was a professor at UCLA, what's up with that? And if you don't mind me asking, what exactly do you do for a living?

  • My parents are retired now. He stopped teaching/working last year.

If I told you what I did for a living, it would give me an excellent reason to be fired, because I am contractually obliged not to tell.

    kp

  • KP PWNAGE !!!!!!!!!!!! :D love your vids woho

  • he is probly a haker or something for the cops or what ever i bet you it has got something to do with the law!

  • get off his nuts

  • Im huting "WABBITS!!" lol..

This guy can't say RRRRRRR'S.. I thought only Elmur Fudd Talked like this. LMAO

  • apple commuters there like never going to be touch screen probably another 6 years or so

  • i think of getting that display and a mac pro,

i thought of dells 30 inch first but i think they were kinda uggly compared to the apple cinema displays

  • Dell sucks

  • Hear, Hear!

  • shit sone must be nice

  • 41800 display... and can't afford a knyfe...

  • sorry, $1800

  • you should've waited for the LED cinema display

hey why dont u touch enable this display, why not, it seems as though u have the money for it

  • Getting it touch-enabled would be pointless.

    kp

  • why, its awesome just expensive,

o actually i do realize why its pointless, the next generation of apple computer will be touch screen anyway because the next generation of pc's that are coming out for windows 7 are gonna be touch screen and pc's always copy macs
