My first vehile was a 79 F150. then i got an 89 CRX Si. the i got a mazda 929 when i got my liscence. then i bought an 86 Buick Century for $50. the cheapest car i ever bought. it last 3 months and i wrecked it 3 times. 10-12 years ago it was hard to find a car for $50, but 400-500 running/ inspected cars were everywhere and they would last a good while, if you didn't beat them up. i didn't pay more then $500 for a car until I was 20-21 and that was an $800 Cherokee.
