LA LUPE was a phenomenon, ¡un fenómeno! & was born with it, you can't acquire it, you can't learn it, you can't take it from anybody, it is given to you at birth; that charisma, talent, energy and musicality. She was ahead of so many singers and performers who came much later, but none of them can be compared to her. Dick Cavett was great in this show, he knew that he was in front of LA LUPE, a force of nature & had to follow that great temperament of LA LUPE. It is sad her early depature.

That series is nonsense! Tite with all the respect he deserves did not really know her as her friends and family did. I spoke to Lupe's assistant Ms. Mercedes Rojas and she told me she didn't even take an aspirin. She didn't use drugs and even on her last videos where she was preaching to the people as a new born Christian she made it clear that she did not use drugs. I believe her there not only cause it is coming from her but that she could not lie in front of the congregation esp. God himself
