I didn't see anything spectacular except for missed tackles everywhere. Barkley didn't make a single difficult throw, only the type of "manage the game safely" throws that are typical for young QBs who are thrown into a situation. Rest assured that he will have to show some substance in the Horseshoe on Saturday.

If USC wins, use some of that money to get grammar lessons. As for me, I'll wait to see if the USC QB can do more than throw dump-offs before I worry about him; his debut mirrors McCoy's in '06, and while Colt ultimately became perhaps the best QB in the college game, he certainly wasn't up to the task when asked to win the game by going downfield. All the crap about "using the talent around him" won't help; Barkley will have to make plays for USC to win.

Its obvious that SJSU got worked in this game. So what, it doesn't mean that they are the worst team in the nation! They still have the chance to win games in the WAC and poisssibly go to a bowl.
