@WoodsmanSkills Wow recurves! That ain't easy. Good luck. We also have an archery business in western CO at facebook dot com/howlingcoyotearchery Take it easy.
@animalloover Yep, I used to live in Ohio and it was shotgun only as well. You can follow us at facebook dot com forward slash howlingcoyotearchery if you want to. I also recently put up a bear video on my youtube site at swormtours if you want to view that one. It got real damn close!
@jtsauce Thanks! We are at it again this week. Weather has been tuff out here. You can follow us on facebook dot com forward slash howlingcoyotearchery if you want!
THANK YOU! I'm not sure why people have to post B.S. on here. Maybe they are just upset with their own luck hunting. I'm not letting them slide though! Ijust put up another video from this morning. "Dead Down Wind" on the site. Sure wish I would have bought a tag!
you suck with...what looks like the fighting cow call..you need to use your lips to push down on the call not your teeth...you teeth make it sound like crap those cows pay you no attention cuz it dont even sound like a elk. and dont put your lips up against the green band your top lip should push about half way between the end of the call to the green band
@awesomegetcos54 She would have missed and the .50 cal would have knocked her over. I was not willing to lose a bull either. She did draw a doe tag this year and I drew an archery buck and another muzzle loader bull so should have some good video again this fall.
@jimkirk41 You bet it is. She finally passed her hunter safety course and drew a doe tag this year. I drew archery buck and muzzle loader bull again so stay tuned for more video's this fall! Thanks for your comment.
@aligerous Thank you! My daughter drew a rifle doe tag, I drew an archery buck and another muzzle loader bull tag so should have some decent video's again this fall...stay tuned!
@haloman1124 That was pretty funny my daughter caught that on film. I NEVER forget my stuff but was in such a hurry to get out there I only grabbed one! Good thing I was a sniper in the Army I guess....1 shot-1 kill. Take it easy!
Took my 9 yr old daughter elk hunting this year, what a great experience. We had a blast, seen several elk but couldnt quite bring it all together (archery season). We were surrounded by bugling bulls but couldnt get them out of the timber into range. I highly recommend taking a kid hunting, u wont regret it.
@trapperofcats Man it is even harder to keep a 9 year old quiet and still! Next year try cow calling damn near out of control and non-stop like you hear in my video. I did that the following week in the same spot and had cows and bulls come down to investigate. It does all depend on the amount of pressue they are getting in the area though.
VERY NICE,AND 2 BE WITH YOUR DAUGHTER!A PLUS GOOD CAMERA SHOTS,JUST REMEMBER WERE YOU PUT YOUR BULLETS!!!ALWAYS HANDY..THANKS FOR THE VID,KEEP HUNTING ALIVE?OR DEAD WITH A GOOD SHOT!
@egotrip1er Thanks! I see you caught my comment to my daughter about forgetting the rest of my muzzle loader pre-loads, I was in such a damn hurry to get out there I forgot them. Good thing I had sniper training at Ft. Benning, GA and just needed the one shot!
@IHuntSnowGeese Good luck brother! I just had two friends out here from Mississippi and they both got bulls. They were lucky, but stuck to it, found sign and hunted that area until they showed up. It can be tuff to find them now that hunters are all over the place.
Very true... Even though it's on private property bow hunters like me like to know and see where the possible dangers are... Again, good job and great video.
@1bgbull Had it on when I took the shot. Thanks for the concern for my safety though. Even though I never heard a single muzzle loader shot or saw another hunter, you never can tell when a stray .50 caliber could come your way.
good job. nice to see hunting being passed on down to the next generation.

Just out of curiosity, where is the blaze orange that you are required to wear during this season?
