pI think Peter should get a bit of praise here. he toook the responsibility of playing the whole of Albatross ,including the parts other guitarists would have normally taken, and also not splitting the 2 note chords between two guitar players, and inserting a few melodic variations that weren't in the original recording but It worked for me ! this is closer to how he played it when he composed it 40 years ago, than the arranement the members of Fleetwood mac did in the late 60's
Leonard Cohen's voice is really fit and strong. His appearance lasted with the extra numbers (9 pcs!) about 4 hours, of which Mr. Cohen was singing most of the time. His voice low resonance is better than ever. He clearly enjoys singing and seems not to want to stop the concert at all ...
Mr. Cohen will surely give the doctor’s the name to Peter Green if this is just asking. It would be really wonderful someday in the future to hear Peter Green's excellent singing as he did younger. It is possible, it was testified by Leonard Cohen (75 years) here in Helsinki.
Watching this video reminds me of a story told by Leonard Cohen during his appearence in Helsinki a few weeks ago.
In presenting the extra numbers after the actual concert, Mr. Cohen said that there is a reason why he has a special relationship with Finland: “My performing in here, or anywhere else, would not be possible without a highly skilled Finnish doctor who put my voice in order. "
