This recording isn't bad, but I heard Jolson perform the song on the radio once, and it was really something. I don't know if it was the live audience, or the time limit, or what, but it seemed really snazzy.
I forget where I heard it. It might have been the Jack Benny Show, but it could have also been Jolson's own show. This one is still a lot better than Bing's. Anyhow, the one I was thinking of is probably full of cracks and hisses.
