Most of the artists that you guys praise listen to all types of music. Like Fenriz of Darkthrone who appreciates various types of music. Even Varg Vikernes listens to techno and so did Euronymous. My point is that you guys take Black Metal too seriously. Or basically Metal in general. Quorthon listened to Pop. He also had his own side project titled "Quorthon" where he played Heavy Metal.

How could Keep of Kalessin be Mainstream? And for the matter...what the hell is Mainstream but a stupid American word to describe anything that's well-known and/or popular? Granted, they're much better known in Europe, but tha's to be expected: Europe has actually embraced Metal and accepted it. If you want Mainstream, look at groups like All That Remains. If you had a band you would also want to promote it. Eurovision is watched by millions so it is a good opportunity for anyone even if they don't win.

This song is just slightly "downgraded" for Eurovision and cut to 3 minutes. On the album it won't be. I don't consider it a sell out, I consider it compromise.

Why have such a negative view on bands just because they might get more famous/popular/liked? Why not just enjoy music that is good and leave the rest alone for those who like it.
