@CharlieDoan The guy is not wearing a skirt, he is wearing a Lungi (see wiki) a traditional subcontinent dress. Its typically till the toes but he folded it up. How is it comfortable......hmmm in the hot humid tropical climate of India especially those areas bordering sea coast, this dress is quite comfortable. It can be held up at the waist with a waist thread or a belt.

I am from kerala...so, i know that they are not feeding curry powder....its milk mixed with honey and medicine..to boost their immunity.....kerala is one of the states in India where Elephants are well looked after ...so, trust me..they know what they are doing...
