I knew this song from singing along with my lovely grandmother. I was 10 when granddad died and the show we did at school that year was an 'old time music hall' and, you've guessed it, we sang this. I had to push my tongue to the back of my throat so stop myself from blubbing. It really is a lovely song though, isn't it? God bless you nan and granddad. Both gone now and missed and loved so much.xxx
