Legacy was one of the biggest failures in ST gaming history sadly. Multiplay was broken on day 1 and needed patching which broke other stuff then 3 months later the makers washed thier hands of it having given it only 2 patches in total. It's so fail I can't even play multiplay on my vista (now win7). Long story short, MS changed something in the network and even though Legacy was launched around Vistas launch the makers still screwed it up. BC rules despite it's age and still works now.

Actually the ship's name could very well be USS Intrepid. Just becuase you hear Janeways voice say "Voyager" doesnt mean that it is Voyager.This game recycles the same voice clips for each ship in a class. Just like you can be in the USS Galaxy and still hear picard say Enterprise.
Actually repairing while in combat weakens your shields and increases the damage you take. You only want to repair when out of you opponets weapon range. Trust me on this.
Just about all of these video's on youtube of this game show the noobs repairing in combat. Which if you read the tips in the game... Says i compromises the ship and should only be done out of combat.
repairing doesnt make you a noob - what i do is warp away - set to repair and when they follow i warp past them - bascially cat & mouse until im back full hp :p
&& aaron9099 it says on the game 'USS Intrepid' and has janeways vocals, then the 'USS Voyager' has normal peoples vocals =/
The first ship of a class is always named after the Class. The First Galaxy class was named USS Galaxy. The first Constitution class ship was named USS Constitution. You get the idea.
If Only The Phaser Effects could be better and if u want better torpedo effects and more maps,starships e.g. reman scimitar and a lot more download the Ultimate Universe
YOU should try to aim were the enemy weapon are. ps try for my son (sick in the hospital, bad desiese that runs in the family) to run away and get really damaged but not destoyed. 1 thing try stop ing at a m class planet i have the same game but i haven't been home since yesterday. stop at a m class planet then transport. (earth is m class)

I like the 'magic torpedos' on the xbox version. Where you fire it and it spins round an enermy before it hits. Crap game though, took me a day to complete on normal. I liked the idea of kirk against the borg, on the last levels.
intrepid class is good for manueverebility but the defiant class is faster more maneuverable and has better weapons.
its extremely unlikely that even a sovreign class could destroy it. The tactical cube is the most powerful ship in the game and it costs 65000 command points
you died like what, 6 times? really, whats the point? A soveriegn or defiant class I could understand, but an intrepid class just lacks anyway of delivering good blows

The ship's name is NOT the U.S.S Intrepid. That's the name of the class. The ship's name is the U.S.S Voyager.
