Well - supposedly the best move for Ryu or Ken is the "Shoryuken", a spinning multiple uppercut..

All you need to add is a tap to the right before you execute what would be a "Hadoken" (it's difficult because you can't roll your thumb if you tap to the right and immediately have to press down as the start of the Hadoken move).

It does a fair amount of damage, but it's very easily defended against. To beat Ken, all you do is block his Shoryukens and kick his ass on the way down

Not at all easy to pull off - I believe it involves rolling your thumb 360 degrees from the direction you're facing and then pressing a button - and only then if the target is in grabbable range!
