  • I thought that was an exceptional talk and it covered so many areas of life.

I'm so grateful to have come across this video.

  • It's like Crocodile Dundee telling me: that's not a LIFE, this is a LIFE!"

  • I enjoyed her lesson a lot, very calming voice, please do another =)

  • I feel very confortable listening to her, does she have more videos?

  • @yesdear27 shes a buddhist nun . They are supposed to shave their hair so it doesnt distract them from meditation.

  • I have heard about this teacher. Wonderful teacher, teaches the pure Dharma, her intent is to motivate through soft words, kindness. Seems to understand true compassion, and feels it. This is my opinion!

  • Thanks for great video:)

  • This teacher is such a lovely, gentle and kind woman. Thank you.

  • always wonderfull to listen to these presentations. please keep them churning out..... they are of great benefit.

  • I think she was in her stride when she wasn't using the written words of that Buddhist monk (whose name I don't recall) and instead spoke her own truth. The exercise at the end was impressive, but just the same, deep seated resentments will not go away, just by visualizing them as black smoke dissipating in the air. That's my reality on it.

  • DEREKINNYC: Hi. Valid point. How about just DECIDING, W/ finality to release deep seated resentments? Is there some law that we have to hold on to them?

I believe we hold on to them by thinking on them over and over again strengthening the neural pathways of our brain. After so much time engraining them, it's almost impossible to get rid of.

I suppose not. Yes, I agree, it is a belief system that can work against one. It's one of the main reasons why I have been watching these videos. Thanks for the reply! :-)

  • @Satori1800

Life is thickly sown with thorns, and I know no other remedy than to pass quickly through them. The longer we dwell on our misfortunes, the greater is their power to harm us.

  • @BipolarBowler Great response. I'll follow through. Thank you :)

  • The beginning of the talk (citing scriptures) was very dry, and i disagreed with most of it.

The personal talk from ~30min on was different. She should stick to her own wisdom, not the inflexible teachings of buddhist schools.

  • Eh, I feel very relaxed listening to her.

  • Yes, but what did you think about the content of the scriptures?

  • That greed is bad.

  • I like to hear the scripture.

  • No need to down-vote different opinions. Your reply would've sufficed.
