Yes, Mwu, though, I will, begrudgingly, admit, was insanely popular with fans. Anew...had barely any screentime, and a random romance with Lockon, and very, very, very clearly died of either exposure to space or her ride exploding. Plus she's hardly important, and the reason she isn't shown is that she essentially came back anyway at the end of the series in the epilogue as an Innovade.
