haha that shit is potent too bad u cant buy the real deal in the US my friend got it from Czech Republic, and we took 3-5 straght shots before someone told us it+s supposed to bi diluted with water... the night ended wtih him in the hospital and stiches, and me laughing my brains out.... dangerous drink xD

You can only can real absinthe in certain countries. Luckily I live only 30 minutes from the border of the Czech Republic; where it is sold. The real stuff will knock you on your ass. I took a shot straight...the guy told me I needed to have the eye of the tiger. I never expected for my chest to constrict! I got actual chest pains. It hurt so bad; never again will I drink that stuff.

so here's what i've heard on absinthe in the US: you will definitely just get drunk way before you hallucinate. therefore, absinthe is basically just another type of alcohol that happens to have a fun history/myth surrounding it. true?
