Too bad that guys like you who can afford such wonderful gear (little bit jealous here ;-), spend so little attention to the other important parts like a decent audio interface. That mic you're using (maybe built-in in your webcam) is horribly overdriving the sound, resulting in unpleasant distortion.

And buttons clicks are quite annoying as well. A pity...

50 bucks for two line-ins with built-in limiters ;-) Check Edirol.

This is a really good Andremoda Demo. You can get an idea of its tone here. Its definitely up there with the other big analog poly's of the 80's.

Funny but valid. It's free vs lotta $. can people really tell the difference in a blind test, do really good musicians do the best with the least amount of equipment? All valid....but must admit, it does sound really good...in other demos.

Have you ever played with a real analog (a good one might I add) ? After you do any software will sound like a cheap imitation. I'm using software only so far but playing with my mates Macbeth m5n opened my eyes on just how much its better than software ...

Especially if you compare the FM sound, the difference is incredible :/

That is the worst anyone can say about analoge synthesizers because it all depends on the sounds you want. This can be shit for someone wanting the more classical sounds. But I agree it's one of the most versatile and moderna working synths. I would recommend it mostly because of it's big amounts of voices and 16 seperate parts in midi.

But check out some demos of Studio Electronics Omega 8 or the new Code 8. That is also one massive beast, but so extremely expensive. like 5500$ for 8 voices.

Yes thats a Ribbon Controller. It's one of the Andromeda's really lovely features, as it can be routed to pretty much anything.
