You guys are so amazing! I was a die hard mario player when I was a kid and this song just brings tears to my eyes! Honestly though, exceptional job! Someone finally found the joy in this wonderful piece and brought it to the stage!
Oh, I've heard that tune before... It must be in Mario Kart Wii or Mario & Sonic Winter Olympics. It's a fun tune for sure. Might be one to transcribe someday...
I can´t believe it! I am speechless! Just because I ASKED IF Tom can play this, this became so popular! I feel proud, but actually we have to thank Koji Kondo for composing this nice melody!
すばらしい!

I´m today so happy,
I´m today so glad,
although I don´t know why,
no reason to be sad,
yes, I´m today so happy,
yes, I´m today so glad,
there is no reason to be sad!

Here's another suggestion: Snow Mountain from Super Mario 64. It's a bit short, but I'm sure Tom can flesh it out to a big piece.

What is the bell/chime portion called of the washboard instrument I hear?
CerulianTiger 2 years ago
It's a series of continually smaller bells. I'm not sure what that's called.
Keeper1st 2 years ago
It looks like a miniature glockenspiel.
Tortoise262 1 year ago
@Tortoise262 Only they are rounded bells instead of flat plates.
Keeper1st 1 year ago
I think they are called "temple bells". I have seen them used in the percussion section of some of the concert bands I have played in.

Besides Tom's piano rendition, this is the best version I have ever heard.
