Not only did it contribute nothing to the plot, but it felt like the whole thing didnt even need to take place in the halo universe and not to mention Tom said nothing about knowing 6. You put it in for no reason...

The Space station was a mini side story, the scene with Noble Six is 4 years after Rain if you look at the date. Rain is in 2548, Six is in 2552. Yes, the Rain was just a passing storm.

Also as someone who mastered drawing there is no secret to manga, but isn't the point. This vid apes anime which overall I don't find compelling. A bit of a moody setting and some emo 2d characterization isn't good or everyone would be a Oscar winner.

However, I do enjoy Battlefield quite a lot, and Bad Company 2's probably my favourite when it comes to campaign. But games don't please everyone; everyone's different. Halo 3 was the first game I played on anything more than a PS2, and from that moment on, I loved Bungie. Shame they're not doing Halo 4...

I can't figure why people don't like this. The voice acting is the best I've ever heard from a Halo Machinima series. The cinematography is excellent, and even though the story is slow it is still good and makes sense. It actually reminds me of a manga but with Halo.

I also fucking hate Halo. A lot. Like a shit ton. I'm serious, I can't fucking stand it. (Doesn't mean I like CoD or BF, I hate those too). So keep that in mind when you read my OPINION about how good this series actually is.

@MajorCholoReyes I mostly have a problem with the timeline the game takes place in. 500 years in the future and the technology is what I expect we should have in less than 100. They still use bullets? Rubber tires? Helicopters? It just isn't future enough for me. It's probably just the English major in me becoming too involved in story details. I have read the books.

Plus I don't really like using a controller and analog sticks for FPS. I'd rather use a mouse. Also, the game is too hyped up.

@mikenoike It's also what you grew up using. I grew up with a Playsation 2, so I only play games on a computer if; they're exclusive to the computer, or it's an RTS. So i guess type of gameplay also effects what you prefer.

@mikenoike Ewwww gadz I must be getting old if people are saying how weird using a mouse is. I'm only 26 and there was a time all we had was a mouse for serious FPS gaming. But you;re right, mice are much more accurate and reliable, and is a reason PC gamers never get to play against people playing on console versions, it'd be a turkey shoot.

Still I quite enjoy using the xbox (the controllers make it a bit more of a challenge) for Halo games and what-not, fun as well.

Technology is like evolution in that there is no set steady schedule of advancement. Technologies are adopted as they appear and prove useful. Just because humans have ships doesn't mean we should have plasma pew pew. Our computer technology is more advanced then our weapons right now.

I understand and agree with what you say about it being fiction and the story, but I still have trouble overlooking the feeling that they didn't even try and guess what technology will be like in 500 years.

We already have rail guns by the Navy. Our robotics understanding is better all the time and I bet we could make a Halo suit minus the shields. Surely we'd have something better than helicopters and gunpowder projectiles.

I'm sorry, but I just don't get it. The story through all three of these has been dry and frankly quite boring. Yeah the effects are great, but it makes some scenes too dark, and seriously what's with the lack of actual script? mrkidcooly (see top comment) is right, it's mostly just slowly turning and slowly walking... Lastly, I really think you should stop these and come up with something a little less blah and a little less depressing. Don't judge me, it's just my opinion... some other's too.
