yes i know this game was more fun back then... As much as I would love this, you must understand that Blizzard is a business and any business's goal is to make money. Morally, yes, blizzard should make these servers because they have the money and resources to do so. However, this would be a financial step backwards as now they would have fewer resources devoted to keeping the main game moving.
Guy Blizzard says that they realize theres a high demand for Pre Bc realms but they want to "keep the game moving along" so they are not gonna make Pre BC realms unless we spam them....
If blizzard could do this, this would mean that the people wanting a server would most likely have to do something like patch down, or have them use a unique patch. This means they have to be stressing the designers, to remove a ton of instances, and bgs, even complete zones. They're saying they dont have the money, because they dont want to be stressing their servers running a WOTLK and Vanilla at the same time simultaneously. It's a fat chance it's gunna happen, but maybe it will. Who knows.

anyway its true. the only reason they won't bring back a pre tbc realm is because u won't need neither of the 3 expansions(adding cataclysm to the list too.) so u won't pay that much to get to those realms should they add them.
@den4ever5 They say they have 11,000,000 players. How many of those are active accounts? I know for a fact that I have had 3 separate accounts. I sold 2 of them and they were to my friends. They, like myself, have stopped playing the game. They include inactive and active players in their total client base.

I herd in a new patch there going to make a choice that you can stop xp from comming say even if you have wotlk and you want a 60 and cant level it you can hit a certin button where you wont be able to gain any xp but maybe thats just a rumor
its true but he problem is at level 60 you are in the 60-69 bracket for wsg and ab the only one that you will be max is av and that would get very annoying getting pwned in the other 2 and just doing av so either way it is gay to stop exp at 60. unless you are just going to raid but what is the chance that you will get groups every week for the raids.

Only thing you can do for now is play private servers.
I know one on the 1.12.1 patch with about 400-500 players on uptime with raid guilds and 40 mans up.
Alterac valley and other bg's also work.

@den4ever5 u should also consider how much they have to pay all employees from their entire industry, there's quite a huge check for that as well :)
anyway its true. the only reason they won't bring back a pre tbc realm is because u won't need neither of the 3 expansions(adding cataclysm to the list too.) so u won't pay that much to get to those realms should they add them.

@den4ever5 They say they have 11,000,000 players. How many of those are active accounts? I know for a fact that I have had 3 separate accounts. I sold 2 of them and they were to my friends. They, like myself, have stopped playing the game. They include inactive and active players in their total client base.

@ItsDannyChill Actually I think #1 problem would be that the game has wen't really casual, and most of the players won't play PRE-BC because it's too much grinding. Some of us think it's fun but some don't, that's something we have to accept.

I hear that Blizzard plans on bringing a US and EU PreBC realm when Cataclysm is released. I am almost sure the rumor is true. I plan on getting info from my cousin which is one of the developers for blizzard.

BRING PRE TBC BACK for so many reasons. I like the new idea about the expansion. But! There is no way in hell i'm going to lvl that high. It has gone to far.

We're all very "ANNOYED" that there is no such thing as daily "Molten Core" or "Zul Gurub" but the fact is: More than half of wow wanted more. Majority rules. This is where private servers come in. Make a private pre bc server. With Cataclysm, azeroth will be alot more populated. Though you wont experience the same gameplay, youll see more people. Blizzard moves the game forward, privates bring the old. Sorry, majormoo

I herd in a new patch there going to make a choice that you can stop xp from comming say even if you have wotlk and you want a 60 and cant level it you can hit a certin button where you wont be able to gain any xp but maybe thats just a rumor

its true but he problem is at level 60 you are in the 60-69 bracket for wsg and ab the only one that you will be max is av and that would get very annoying getting pwned in the other 2 and just doing av so either way it is gay to stop exp at 60. unless you are just going to raid but what is the chance that you will get groups every week for the raids.

They already have all the patches and so on, they would just have to downgrade a server. It would create a lot more happy players, and some people quit WoW because of no more Pre-TBC, so wouldnt it give Blizz more money o:?
