Love your playing and singing on this - really great!
If you don't mind me asking, what string gauges are you using for open f, as tuning my guitar with a 56 gauge on the bottom struggles to hold the low c.
I love the guitar! And the song! You have an awesome verse and good taste in music. Keep playing. I'm going to try to learn how to play this. Thanks for sharing!!
Have loved reading all these comments, couldn't do a better job of commenting.....love this music and all the positive comments are "ditto +" for me!!!!
I disagree with Daddymccourt and it sure is a matter of taste, because I really love your guitar playing, man. Besides that your voice is too good to get snowed under*) by your guitar.
*) I don't know if that's an expression in english, but I guess you know what I mean.
Thanks for the comment. I'm using the built in mic on the camcorder so yes, it is a bit hard to get a decent balance. But it's the back of my van and reso-phonic guitars are loud.
I like what Charles Tindley thought about his music, "I never intended for the songs to be sung in formal worship services, but rather on informal occasions."
A-Cappella is what they had, a guitar and a voice is what I have. Tradition is ok, confinement is awful.
Enjoyed. Nice voice, good songs but your guitar is much too loud on all three songs - it almost buries your voice. Maybe you could record them again with better balance. Or, even better, do them a-cappella they way they were supposed to be sung?
Great work!!

@twangmeister. I use 2 different resophonic sets:
-heavy-medium - 16p, 18p, 28, 35, 45, 56.
-heavy - 16, 18, 28, 38, 49, 59.
I prefer the heavy-medium cause I like the lower strings to have less tension than heavy gauge. My action is set high on that guitar.

A very comforting song, delivered straightforward. The message came through even over the guitar's volume.
