  • i bet this is when Mac OS X 10.5.x was out before 10.6.x

Snow Leopard has native support for PS3 controllers out of the box!

Just plug in the PS3 controller in your Mac And press the "PS" button a few times for 3 sec. or so.

Then unplug the controller and press the "PS" button again and Mac OS X Snow Leopard will recognize the controller without any third party drivers!

Another valid reason to upgrade to Snow Leopard lol.

    Hope this helps.

    Bless

  • @pochoun33137 yes this was before 10.6.x was released. Thats the problem with doing videos like I do. Information gets outdated rather quickly.

  • does it work on Snow Leopard? I already have the driver installed but I don't have a PS3 controller, because I forgot to take it with me when I left our PlayStation behind in Hong Kong (because it doesn't work in Canada)

  • how do you configure on mame osx using snow lepord

  • so you install it and thats it, no preference pane or app to launch. my controller's four lights just rapidly flash like it hasn't made a connection. only game i've got is halo and it says no game pad is connected.

  • @sparced You must connect via USB, Bluetooth won't work.

  • never mind the question I asked

  • does it have to be a mini usb? Can't it just be the controller charger?

  • @thechelet They are the same thing. So yes, it can be your charger.

  • what games work with the controller?

  • @birdwingsvids It seems to be hit and miss. Technically speaking all of them should, but a lot of them don't. I don't know for certain, sorry.

  • dude u might be good with a computers but ur slow as f..k

  • Is there any way to make the Z joystick (right side one) work as a mouse?

  • the site is working now

  • @c0mputerwhiz1 I found an application called "ControllerMate" that let's you use it in any application although it is very hard to learn

  • what games will this work with none of mine work with it

  • I have no clue, and from what I can tell they have stopped developing this all together.

  • @theonlyand GridWars is pretty awesome

  • you really shouldnt of made a video

when that site to download it from was down

  • When I made the video, the site wasn't down. That is part of doing things like this. Some of the programs I demo get cancelled, or taken offline. That is just the way it is.

  • how do you know if it got recognized or not???

i can't get it to work w/ l4d or halo

  • @ethans789 I hate to say this, but from the replies I have been getting lately, it would seem that this might now work anymore. But, you could just make sure that you have the controls for the game set right.

  • hmm, well it got reognized and works with emulators but idk what to do for l4d

  • whats the application call u should have said it i cant fucking find it

  • i am will.. and you are a wanker

    p.s. thanks for the video!

  • this is free right?

  • yup 100% free

  • for some reason, it doesnt work. i tried it for cod4

  • Did you try and go into the COD4 settings and configure the controller. If that doesn't work then COD4 probably just doesn't support this hack.

  • didnt work. but its ok, i bought a driver to make it work. but theres alot of work i have to do. -_-
