  • very impressive fight anyway.

  • i think itis cant be happend in the real fight

  • are knees legal?? i thought it was just punches, kicks, and throwing

  • knees are legal, but not elbows.

  • ya i think the only sport/martial arts that allows elbows is muay thai.

  • Knees are allowed but no flying knees.

  • interesting movie that showcases wushu sanda on the big screen. thanks for posting! you get 5 stars from masteringwushu . com

  • beast

  • does anyone no where i can get this movie?

  • Hhaaaaaaaaaaaaa))))))))))

  • LOL, bad fight scene. This doesn't even look that much like sanda, but wushu for the ring. Sanda is the real deal when it comes to kung fu.

  • oh is this the movie where the bad guy kills the master and blames it on the main character??

  • no, thats fist of fury 91, starring stephen chow

  • ty... its a dumb question cuz that happens in the final battle and well it didnt happen here :P

  • Good movie ;)

  • I'll be sure never to see this movie. I'm glad it's up here so I didn't waste my time with it.

  • I thought sanshou was made before Jeet Kune Do.

  • SanShou (sanda) was created in the 20's as an answer to muay thai.

  • it's actually used by the red army lol. weird huh?

  • and your point is?

  • i dont wanna make you look bad, but it wasn't created to counter muay thai. it was made for the chinese lib. army lol.

  • ok, we will have to agree to desagree then

  • lol w/e man. regardless, this is a sick fight. We MUST agree to agree about that :P

  • actually it looks like a pretty decent movie, I'm gonna try to find it in netflix

  • did u find it?

  • damn, I had totally forgotten about this.

No, they didn't have it (at least under that title)

  • @Neko687 But you're right though. Sanda/Sanshou was at the time created in response to the popularity of Muay Thai as a fightsport. So china developed their own by fusing boxing, kickboxing and muay thai techs as as well as adding throws and takedowns into it.

I quite like sanda. It's one of the most complete and versatile forms of standup kickboxing.

  • damn girl...what happened anyway?

  • bad sound

  • awesome

  • mouthpiece lol

  • looks like a cool video.
