@CanadianRandom YOUR WRONG! it is a 6x6 the first number represents how many wheels you have the second number represents how many driven or powered wheels you have so 6 wheels and 6 wheels powered = 6x6

@idoeverything733 Really!! just read my reply then look it up! and no it can't go both ways 4x4 or 6x6 or 4x2 are all ratio's depicting wheels to wheels driven and nothing about axles If you claim that it's about axles then how do you explain that the polaris boss referred to by CanadianRamdumb has 4 axles but is called a 6x6 and the argo has 6 axles and called a 6x6 or that my big bear stock is 4x4 but only has 3 axles or that the 4x2 big bear only has one axle. Honestly can you explain it?

I have a 2007 big bear 2005 brute force 750 2008 thundercat and a 09 Honda but I don't ride it it sucks. I'm about to make a walkaround on my big bear but i use mine for mud racing only

hey man, im building a 93 big bear up, just wondering if ya gotta change anything when ya run a snorkel? i sent mine in to get a ticking looked at in my top end and the tickiung was there long long before i snorkelled my bike but the guy says the reason my bike runs like shit is because of my snorkel? any tips?

@calvinpiels the ticking you heard was most likely your valve clearance as far as a snorkel making your bike run like shit he is almost right. ajusting the air flow through the carb&engine can make your bike run to lean or to rich(lean=to much air-rich=to much gas)to lean can make the engine over heat to rich and carbon will build up causing wear check the spark plug white to grey=lean darkbrown to black=rich lightbrown=good, a reducer in the snorkel will limit air a larger main jet will add gas

@npat34 perfect thank you very much you've been very helpful. i think im running lean cuz it's been pretty warm and the ticking was adjusted by a friend it was the valves your correct but thanks for the info i like to double check what mechanics tell me. im thinking the reducer in the snorkel is a great idea and i will be making some sort of donut in the next week as i am heading to mudfest next weekend. thanks again man and gorgeous bike love what ya done, check out my rig i'll post you a link

@John59613 no I had to buy the mounting plate and the winch. I think that the 2008 comes with the mounting plate it's about 3/16" to 1/4" thick with four holes for the winch and two tabs bent up with holes in the front for the fairleads

@68023 before i got the cam i could only spin 4 27" 589s in frist gear in thick mud when i got the cam i could spin them in second gear and that is well worth the money

@backwoodsctryboy the only kits that you can buy ready made that i know of are Dual Clics $1600 with out tires and J Wheels $600 look them up they are on you tube. i built my own, but you mite can get a kit made at a mechine shop or a good welding shop

i built a snorkle for my 08 big bear. its made out of 1.5 pvc pipe. now it cuts out at low to mid powerband i guess its not getting enough air. any suggestions

buy two plugs or caps to fit the end of the snorkel drill a 5/8 hole in the center of the plug or cap put it in the snorkel do not glue ride it if it cuts out again

drill or cut the hole a little bigger to get it just right but don't make it to big if you do you got the extra
