Who the hell cares which "Beatle" is better than the other? John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison & Ringo Starr only had one intenion in their music career. Do what they love to do and make people happy with their music. Give them credit for that and STOP the troublemaking bashing!! THANK YOU!!
@michaelRMCoy I get what you are saying re lennons issues surrounding his first son but you have to remember musically, he was a genius and these were his ideals that he aspired to reach all the while knowing his imperfections. We all have light and darkness within us, no one is perfect. Just becasue he treated his son badly does not mean he did not desire to be better and did not desire peace and harmony within his own life. Judge not lest ye be judged.
Great song -- solid architecture. But it should be known that Ringo co-wrote the song.
And praising Lennon, (or anyone for that matter), should be tempered with a broader view.
Lennon spoke often of peace and harmony -- but one only needs to know how he treated (his son) Julian and his mother for years to know -- he could be mean-spirited, unkind and harbor resentment for many years.
@zoobeedoo09 - LOL The mystical John Lennon doesn't need protection from YOU or, least of all, George "The Plagiarizer" Harrison. Keep in mind that if George had died first, you could STILL have a Beatle reunion! The same could not be said when John died. In a very real sense...HE WAS THE BEATLES!
@TwoUselessLegs haha, what's your problem, mate? Where's all this hate coming from?
The man said depending on material possessions was evil, not having them. And he smoked way before he knew just how bad it was and more importantly, before he converter.
His "biggest hit" was unconsciously plagiarised, it can happen. In any case, he made loads of better music, and all original.
Don't bother replying, I obviously love George and his music, you clearly have some personal vendetta against him and neither of us is likely to change opinion. Let's just leave the comments section clear for those who want to appreciate the song :)
Love this song, and it can apply to all of us. I can hear it again and again, or is it listen? Actually, either, it's already in my head.

there is too much hate in the comments. George Harrison had one wish, and it was for all of us to love each other. Lets respect his wish.

You are all idiots
If any one of the beatles died it would not have been the same
they were together because of their deep friendship
when one died they all did in some way
and the only reason john is the most reverd is the same reason that the beatles are more revered compared to the stones
because he was the first to go
no one has said crap about paul
and im sure thats because hes still around

@zoobeedoo09 - Analyzing a Harrison tune would be like a
4 hour tour of my living room. John's legacy was established
LONG BEFORE the Beatles ever broke up. He could've spent
his post-Beatle days farting into jars and still retained his legacy.
At one time the most photographed and interviewed
man in the world. From Europe to Communist Cuba there are
parks, statues, streets and plaques dedicated to John.
Not the Beatles, John. Why waste time on the hapless
George "Beatle-Lite" Harrison?

@TwoUselessLegs haha. Well, you're entitled to your opinion, I suppose.
I, for one, think George was a brilliant musician, overshadowed by John and Paul. That, and a splendid human being.
I imagine you can at least appreciate this song, considering it's dedicated to John with George's love.

@kafata1 - George was a "splendid" human being?
Wow! I simply don't know where this myth-making comes
from. This is a man who preached the evils of materialism
while he lived in a 120-room mansion. This is a man who
while preaching that while we take care of the planet we
should also "take care of ourselves"...all the while he had a
cigarette hanging out of his mouth. He finally died of it.
As for his music, keep in mind that his biggest "hit"
was PLAGIARIZED. Simply SPLENDID!

@kafata1- I have no issue with praise or even enthusiastic adulation.
What troubles me here at Harrison videos is the constant drumbeat
of lies and myth-making. I will gladly quit leaving the TRUTH about
George when you and your kind quit trying to make him out to be the
2nd coming of Christ. George Harrison was a good soldier. He did
what he was told. However, music never came to him easily as it did
to his older, wiser band-mates. George always struggled with music
and lyrics.
