That's a fair enough point. Although, really, she's talking about meeting the President of the United States, and that's a fairly exciting thing for most people, you know? She seems to be very genuine about this, and she's not being political. I remember people swooning the same way over meeting Clinton, Reagan and even both Bushes. It's easy to forget this because the last four years of Bush's presidency were just such a disaster that there was an unusual situation.

How can a president be called competent, when he spends millions of taxpayer dollars on pointless trips and vacations? This guys eating lobster and steak on air force one while the majority of Americans are struggling to keep their head's above water. I do understand that a higher standard comes with the presidency, no doubt. Seems to me though, being the head executive of the country ("CEO" if you will) he should be trimming costs where ever possible. but oh, hes articulate!
