Hopefully that's a unit that Tom could do a movie about in the future. I'm hoping he becomes a big time movie maker in the future, because I'm sure he'd give us some of the best war movies ever made! We could sure use a lot more!
LOL! Inside the museum a family was inside an old 1930s Ford Trimotor- it's a beautiful classic and it normally has a sign in the doorway saying it's fine to look inside but not to enter- the sign was lying on the floor. So whether they knocked the sign down and went inside or someone else did- it was still clearly visible. Anyway, they do fly it occasionally so I'm sure they don't want people messing around in the cockpit! People are such rude, ignorant jerks!
Thank you Dylan! Yeah, I love the museum! I've been a member since it first opened 8 years ago & I go many times a year. I've loved planes since I was little!
Anyway, the plane is a C-47 (the civilian version is the DC-3) It's the type of plane our paratroopers jumped out of in World War 2. I always thought it would be cool to own one & fly all over in it!
