  • I'm black, and I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints heading towards my 22nd year in the church. I'm also a former anti-Mormon who freed myself from the narrow-minded views and lies of that movement when I asked Heavenly Father for help, and He sent me the missionaries to teach me the truth about Him and His Son my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. No one can take my testimony that They live today and we continue to receive revelation from Them.

  • SO WILL NOT RESPOND ANYMORE SINCE IT'S A WASTE OF MY TIME, ITS LIKE ME TRYING TO PROVE THE SUN DOES NOT GET HOT, THIS IS FACTUAL EVIDENCE LIKE THE INFORMATION I HAD PRESENTED ALL OVER THIS PAGE SO U CAN ATTEMPT TO REVERT THE EVIDENCE BUT AGAIN U WERE NOT ABLE TO PROVE WHAT I SAID IS WRONG SINCE IT'S ALL OVER YOUR BOOK THAT MORMONS FEEL BLACKS ARE THE CURSED RACE. MAYBE ONE DAY YOU WILL WAKE UP AND ACCEPT THIS REGARDLESS IF YOU YOURSELF IS NOT A RACIST, U R BLOCKED I WILL NOT SEE YOUR RESPONSES.

  • @tiana1017 2 Thessalonians 2

King James Version (KJV) 1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition

  • @tiana1017 Don't judge this book by its cover or by what you might think you know about it. Take some time to read it. We have read it numerous times and are posting topics here to help you as you read. As Herbert Spencer once said, “There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance – that principle is contempt prior to investigation."

  • @tiana1017 The Book of Mormon is a volume of holy scripture comparable to the Bible and is a record of God's dealings with His chosen people in the New World. The main purpose of the Book of Mormon is "to the convincing of Jew and Gentile that JESUS is the CHRIST, the ETERNAL GOD, manifesting himself unto all nations." (Book of Mormon Title Page) It was written by ancient American prophets for our day (Mormon 8:35) and is an American testament of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • EVERYONE CAN SEE IN HERE THAT I PROVED MY POINT, LDS4FLIFE71 FAILED TO PROVE THAT MORMONS LDS HAVE ETHNOCENTRIC BELIEFS AND WANT TO RATIONALIZE THOSE BELIEFS AS BEING SOMETHING OTHER THAN RACIST OR ETHNOCENTRIC VIEWS. THIS LDS4FLIFE 71 HAVE NOT AND CANNOT PROVE ME WRONG OTHERWISE SO THAT'S THE END OF THIS DEBATE. I DON'T NEED TO RESPOND BECAUSE I HAVE SHARED MORE THEN ENOUGH EVIDENCE SUPPORTING MY FACTUAL BELIEFS IN WHICH ANYONE INCLUDING LDS4LIFE71 CAN GO BACK AND REVIEW,

  • @LAWTV1 your commen has been removed for it's disrespect...you can believe what you want but you can not speak that way about sister renee.

  • black mormons are in denial

  • @tiana1017 anti mormons are in complete denial

  • @LDS4Life71 sweetie I was a mormon for many years and finally had sense to get out. Black mormons might as well join the klan, I heard they are going to start accepting blacks now.

  • @tiana1017 sweetie, Gladys Knight and her whole family have converted once they have seen thru the lies. The LDS faith showed more tolerance towards the black race than any other Christian church in its day. You show me any church that was predominately white that was tolerant towards blacks in Joseph / Brighams day, and then you can have a real conversation, and not just mudsling. Joseph Smith ordained Elijah Abel, a black man, and I know Elijah was a saint.

  • @LDS4Life71 I don't care if Glady Knight converted to mormonism lol. Are you kidding me? You think just because Gladys Knight is a mormon I'm supposed to care and think Mormonism is ok? You must be out of your mind, yes she is a celeb but she is still a person so don't get that twisted sweetie. You and I both know what the book of mormon is about and you know damn well it wasn't for blacks, Maybe now they accept them but not before and those are the facts no matter how you want to twist things

  • @LDS4Life71 I remember what I was taught as a young child from the book of mormon and how blacks were considered the curse race, The (LDS) cannot escape their racist past. For nearly 150 years, the Mormon Church had taught that ALL blacks were cursed. A black Mormon male could not hold the highly regarded LDS Priesthood1 because of his dark skin. And since he could not hold this Priesthood, he could not enter the Mormon Temple. Now things have changed but I remember getting nasty stares when

  • @LDS4Life71 When I entered the mormon temple as a young child in Santa Monica, it was mainly from the older white people, I don't know who you are but you cannot tell me what I experience being in this religion and will never go back and frankly blacks can go to whatever church they want but I think its crazy for them to be involved in a church that had a racist past but to each his own, You cannot tell me this church did not have a racist past, YOU are in denial.

  • @LDS4Life71 “But let them apostatize, and they will become gray-haired, wrinkled, and black, just like the Devil" (Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, vol. 5, p. 332 Joseph Smith first president, prophet, and founder of the Mormon Church: Had I anything to do with the negro, I would confine them by strict law to their own species, and put them on a national equalization" (Joseph Fielding Smith, Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, 270; History of the Church, 5: 218; emphasis added).

  • @LDS4Life71 Brigham Young second President and Prophet: You see some classes of the human family that are black, uncouth, uncomely, disagreeable and low in their habits, wild and seemingly deprived of nearly all the blessings of the intelligence that is generally bestowed upon mankind. . . .

  • @tiana1017 We don't segregate at all. Brigham was a man of his day, and he didn't clearly understand all of God's will, but in a time full of racists he had to run the church of Jesus Christ. The apostacy and restoration of the church of Jesus christ is completely biblical.

Baptists, Southern Baptists, and all protestant faiths: 33,000 members of the KKK including dragonmasters.

    LDS? 0 kkk

show me any church in their day that wasn't racist, and we can have a conversation.

  • @tiana1017 2 Nephi 26:33

33 For none of these iniquities come of the Lord; for he doeth that which is good among the children of men; and he doeth nothing save it be plain unto the children of men; and he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.

  • @LDS4Life71 This is all you got? You are not even equipped to compete with me considering all the things wrote to you so don't even try it.

  • @LDS4Life71 Since you want to talk about Nephi well check this out lol Book of Mormon 2 Nephi 5:21.

It is said that God cursed the Lamanites with black skin so they would not be enticing unto the Nephites.

Again you are not equipped to compete with me because I can show you using the same book you take quotes from about how blacks are considered the curse race.

  • @tiana1017 Missourians kicked Mormons out in their day, because the LDS were abolishionist, and against slavery, and you think we're racist? You really need to wake up.

  • @LDS4Life71 Again as I said earlier, the basis of this mormon religion was based on racism and ethnocentricism since they believed that black is evil, Sure they wanted to save the african slaves and wanted to convert them to mormonism but that still doesn't mean they didn't believe that blacks were the cursed race. DO NOT get racism and hatred confused because these are TWO separate things. They were racist in the fact that they believe black is evil but they probably did not have hatred

  • @LDS4Life71 hatred to the point where they wanted them killed like white supremacy groups so those are two different things. You must be black and trying to rationalize the outdated racist teaching your book and your religion have taught for years and making excuses. The facts are the facts, If you're a black person realize what this religion was based upon, I'm not saying leave the religion you can do what you want but realize how they really see you deep down inside then maybe you will wake up

  • @tiana1017 no i'm caucasian and I don't have a racist bone in my entire body.

  • @LDS4Life71 I never said you were a racist. I said your religion has lots of racist ethnocentric views and that you cannot change, you can try and deny it but everyone know the truth about Mormons even if you want to deny this.

  • @tiana1017 The religion is based on the gospel of Jesus Christ. Race is NOT an issue with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Only lying anti mormons make it an issue.

  • @LDS4Life71 Excuse me for having sense to get out of a religion that portrays blacks as being evil. This religion is based believing the black race is a curse and only delusional Mormons like yourself cannot see this. You feel whatever your religion tells you to do that they cannot do no wrong. You're a fanatic, I thought only Christians had fanatics but I can see now that Mormons have their fare share, I hope you are not a polygamous and anti or ex mormons as I can see now is a good thing.

  • @tiana1017 No you're wrong about us. The restoration of the church of Jesus Christ is completely biblical. Again. Gladys knight and her whole family joined the church of Jesus christ. WE DON'T have racist views at all. I am fanatical tho. I won't allow you to define what we believe!

  • @LDS4Life71 That is not a good argument either since Christians groups took their slaves to church with them, it's like those churches taught their followers that slavery was OK, some didn't or had hatred for blacks and took their ethnocentrism beliefs to different extremes, just because LDS didn't believe in slavery does not mean they did not think blacks are the curse race which is my point & only point I will keep giving you facts so quit trying to steer away from the facts. You will not win

  • @tiana1017 well I have read the Journal of Discourse, and the Mormon Doctrine, and I know that you are wrong about us. The church I attend has all ethnic background, and we love everyone, and do not descriminate, and you are welcome to check it out if you don't believe me.

  • @LDS4Life71 I would rather visit a Scientology church then to ever set foot back in a Mormon church, again you do not see that of course now they accept everyone and possibly made some amendments in some of their books but you know damn well about blacks so called being the curse race, can you sit here and tell me that Mormons either in the past or present did not think blacks were the curse race? Can you? I dare you to answer this question instead of being around the bush like you have been.

  • @tiana1017 No blacks are not called the cursed race. You are misinterpretting the scripture. Just as the early church leaders did. That's the damn problem. You're a bunch of bigots.

  • @LDS4Life71 You are in denial and everyone know that LDS think the black race is cursed. It's all over your book of mormon and you allow them to brainwash into thinking otherwise, keep making excuses and keep rationalizing about oh thats not what they meant. Use your brain and think about the stuff you are reading and stop living in lala land please

  • @tiana1017

I truly understand your position, and yes certain parts of the book sound racist, but the God honest truth is people misunderstand it, and assume it talking bout the skin. It is NOT. The book is NOT racist. It's talking metaphorically.

  • @LDS4Life71 Metaphorically my azz

When you compare the 1830 version of the Book of Mormon with today's version, you will see a

small editing change in 2 Nephi 30:6. The word "white" in the phrase "they shall be a white and a

delightsome people" has been changed to "pure.". The fact that white has been changed to pure

reflects the LDS belief that white skin is symbolic of purity whereas black skin is symbolic of impurity so don't give that bull you are trying to feed me, it's not going to work

  • @tiana1017 Puleaze! You are really bigoted if you think we're racist, when I grew up in the church and I do not have a racist bone in my body. repent and come unto christ. The words white and black are metaphorric, and NOT literal. The message of the book of Mormon teaches the LOVE of Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ the Son, and it is biblical that it would come as it is the words of a remnant of the house of Joseph, sold in to Slavery.

    cont...

  • @LDS4Life71 I NEVER SAID YOU ARE A RACIST, I SAID YOUR RELIGION IS AND LET ME TELL YOU ANOTHER THING, YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THE TRUTH, I HAVE MORE RESPECT FOR THIS MORMON IN THIS VIDEO BECAUSE AT LEAST HE IS NOT DENYING THE RACIST TEACHINGS OF YOUR BOOK OF MORMON, HE SAID HE CANNOT EXPLAIN WHY THE BOOK IS RACIST BUT ITS IN THERE, TYPE THIS IN EXACTLY LIKE THIS A Mormon Explaining How Blacks are Cursed AND YOU WILL SEE EVEN YOUR MORMONS CAN'T DENY RACIST VIEWS, I HAVE MORE RESPECT FOR HIM

  • Respond to this video... I HAVE MORE RESPECT FOR HIM BECAUSE AT-LEAST HE SEES THE RACIST VIEWS AND DOESN'T' SUGAR COATED LIKE YOU ARE DOING, IF YOU WERE TO BE IN COURT WITH ME YOU WOULD LOSE BECAUSE I HAVE GIVEN EVERY PIECE OF EVIDENCE OF WHY YOUR BOOK OF MORMON IS RACIST AND YOU CANNOT PROVE ME WRONG OTHERWISE. YOU ARE WASTING ME TIME BECAUSE INSTEAD OF PROVING ME WRONG YOU KEEP REVERTING THE EVIDENCE TO A DIFFERENT TOPIC, YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE A MORMON BUT DON'T DENY THE RACIST VIEWS

  • @LDS4Life71 AND ON THAT NOTE, I AM DONE WITH THIS USELESS CONVERSATION BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER GET THROUGH YOUR THICK HEAD YOUR RELIGION ORIGINS WERE RACIST AND STILL IS, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE YOU PLENTY OF EVIDENCE, YOU WANT TO RATIONALIZE THE MEANING BUT ITS CLEAR AS DAY THIS IS RACIST BUT YOU BEING A WHITE PERSON I'M NOT GOING TO SIT HERE AND EXPECT YOU TO SEE THIS WHEN MY OWN PEOPLE ARE TOO BLIND TO SEE THIS AS WELL. This teaches all LDS Mormons that Black skin is a CURSE FROM the Mormon

  • @LDS4Life71 In 1949, The 1ST Presidency issued the following statement: "The attitude of the Church with reference to Negroes remains as it has always stood. It is not a matter of the declaration of a policy but of direct commandment from the Lord, on which is founded the doctrine of the Church from the days of its organization, to the effect that Negroes may become members of the Church but that they are not entitled to the priesthood at the present time."

  • @LDS4Life71 (The First Presidency on the Negro Question, 17 Aug. 1949)

  • @tiana1017 I know it is hard for you to comprehend, but if you take the time to read the book of Mormon and just overlook that which appears to be racist, you will see that the word of God is real, and found in the book of Mormon, and the spriit of God is felt strongly to readers. There are many great things found in the book of Mormon, for example, it teaches that a person should pray.

  • @LDS4Life71 haha so you want me to OVERLOOK what appears to be racist? You know this stuff is racist but you want me to try and OVERLOOK THE RACIST THINGS and just concentrate on the great things found in this book, WOW, THIS IS THE BEST YOU CAN DO, YOU CANNOT PROVE ME WRONG. YOU ARE A FOOL IF YOU THINK I'M GOING TO OVERLOOK RACIST TEACHINGS, I AM NOT AN OREO LIKE THOSE OTHER BLACK MORMONS INCLUDING GLADYS KNIGHT, IT'S PATHETIC SHE IS LOST AND HAVE BEEN BRAINWASHED.

  • @LDS4Life71 like I said you cannot go back and re write the books and it's a shame you belief in a religion that has racist views and i'm sure you wish the book would have been written in a different manner so people like me wouldn't be proving their case and proving you wrong but you cannot do that, the book was written the way it was but that doesn't mean I have to follow a racist religion and will never do this.

  • @LDS4Life71 LDS Mormons Believe The seed of Cain and Ham are the Africans who where Cursed Black in the LDS Mormon Pearl of great Price Scriptures (This is not in the HOLY BIBLE)

". . . there was a blackness came upon all the children of Canaan, that they were despised among all people . . . (Pearl of Great Price Moses 7:8)."

  • @LDS4Life71 there are a lot of ex mormons who saw the light and got out of that racist religion, hopefully you will too, Thank God I did and hopefully you will

type this in on you tube search

LDS Mormon Mitt Romney on Blacks Priesthood

  • @LDS4Life71 I KNOW SOME MORMONS MAY HAVE DONE A LOT FOR BLACKS BUT CONSIDERING THE RACIST VIEWS THAT'S IN YOUR BOOKS YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND WHY SOME WHITE MORMONS SEE THEMSELVES AS BEING BETTER THAN BLACKS AND MITT ROMNEY IS DOING THE SAME THING YOU WERE AVOIDING THE FACTS AND SAYING I'M NOT RACIST JUST LIKE YOU WERE, AGAIN WE ARE NOT SAYING YOU GUYS ARE RACIST, WE ARE SAYING YOUR RELIGION HAS RACIST VIEWS AND DEFINITELY ETHNOCENTRIC VIEWS-Belief in the superiority of one's own ethnic group

  • @tiana1017 Please repent and come unto Christ.

The apostacy and restoration of the church of Jesus Christ is completely bibilcal.

  • @LDS4Life71 I am with Christ already and yes I'm with a faith that doesn't look at the black church as a sin or being evil or looked as a curse race like Mormons do so NO Thank you. You cannot prove that Mormons have not looked as blacks being the curse race so our conversation is done on that matter. Everyone knows how Mormons view the black race among other things , its all over your Mormon book as I spread that info all over this you tube page so I made my point and rest my case.

  • @LDS4Life71 I dare you to answer that simple question and then this useless conversation will end, you will either say the truth or you will be a liar. Which one it will be it's up to you. If you can from your heart tell me that Mormons throughout history never thought about blacks being the curse race spoken then shoot away but just remember your Mormon books teaches otherwise.

  • @LDS4Life71 Chapter 15 is entitled, "The Seed of Cain." Chapter 16 is entitled, "The Seed of Cain After the

    Flood."

"Not only was Cain called upon to suffer, but because of his wickedness he became the father

of an inferior race" (p. 101).

"Millions of souls have come into this world cursed with black skin and have been denied the

privilege of Priesthood and the fulness of the blessings of the Gospel. These are the descendants

    of Cain" (p. 101).

  • @LDS4Life71So for nearly 150 years, the Mormon Church taught that dark skinned people (partially Africans) could not gain true salvation, eternal life ( Godhood in the highest heaven: the celestial kingdom). Now I'm not saying this is what mormons teach now, but they did at one time or maybe they changed things up, so my point is DO NOT say that mormons was all the way ok with blacks because they weren't and I would not belong to a religion with that type of history and blacks who do are fools.

  • @tiana1017 That is UNTRUE. Black people have always been welcome to join and partake of the blessings of the Church of Christ. It is NOT a requirement of the celestial kingdom to have the priesthood. That is NOT what the scriptures say. It says being born of the water and of the spirit to enter the kingdom of God. This means accepting Jesus Christ, repenting of your sins, and being immersed by one who is authorized by God, and not just a false theology degree.

  • @LAWTV1 She is strong because she can forgive a church that made some mistakes. Now I ask you, will you please forgive us? At some point we have to forgive and be forgiven for the true healing and pure love of Christ to do its amazing, miraculous work. Do you think it's time? Respectfully...

  • Unfortuately, Renee died a couple of days ago. The Church and FAIR will miss her work on earth, but she certainly has a greater work to do on the other side.

  • Renee has passed away: Facebook: Renee Olson memorial

  • Renee has passed away: Facebook: Renee Olson memorial

  • This lady is a TOKEN. Shame. It really is. She cowtows to the White people at this meeting and doesn't really address for me what has been said and part of this doctrine. This lady seems like so many who try to find religion and move from one to another. She'll probably be a Buddist next. Shame. As a Black person, her comments didn't convince me. She has a European nose, how was that relevant? To me it exhibited her self hate and her attempt to be more WHITE to others.

  • @lunargoddess2002 specifically what doctrine are you speaking of? this was made in 2002....she has maintained her membership for quite some time. did you watch the whole talk? she mentions several times her love for her race. i regret that you did not get much from her....i think she rocks....she is one of my favorite speakers.

  • No, I listened to the whole thing. I can say I can fly but my behavior isn't consistent with it. You can think that she rocks. Did you not read what i'd written or were you so impassioned that you didn't read my comment AT ALL? LIKE I SAID, another token negro. Sad but true.

  • @lunargoddess2002 " I can say I can fly but my behavior isn't consistent with it. "

    uhhh what?

" Did you not read what i'd written...."

yes i did "another token negro. Sad but true."

i'm sorry you feel this way ...i find this sad.

  • @fairldsdeaf You may find this sad but the truth is the truth, these people did not accept black people and probably feel they can only get so far in I don't remember what the different universes or worlds are called, but they can only make it so far in the religion and in the high celestials worlds or whatever its called, i don't remember and don't feel like googling mormon religion.

  • @lunargoddess2002 I am saddened to hear of the death of Renee. I knew her personally in Orlando. I knew her when she first walked into the church, just daring folks to knock that chip off her shoulder as she would defiantly share her "knowledge" of the church & her "anti" bent. We spoke many times. I watched her struggle. I watched her change. Believe me, she is NO "TOKEN". She is a STRONG black woman...who I love and will miss. Thank God for Renee... a blessed mother and chosen daughter of God.

  • @lunargoddess2002 well when i was a mormon, it was 16, im 42 now and even though they allowed blacks by then, i could clearly feel the stares of eyes when I would go to the big temple in santa monica in Calif, i felt uncomfortable, it was mainly the older elders not the young hip ones, this religion hated blacks , it's written in their book of mormon, because supposedly one of abraham's son's saw him naked or something, anyways I got out of that religion, I didn't know any better back then, lol

  • @lunargoddess2002 For your information, Renee passed away just recently, still a faithful member of the LDS church.

  • I KNOW WHO THIS!! from Geogia deaf group.

  • you know her? coooool!

  • Thank you for caption! This helps to translate the speach into many different languages. Thank you so much!

    I love fairldsdeaf! : )
