Is it normal that the top of my Shure Sm57 mic twist? It does not fall off, it just twist when you turn it.

yes. actually this is one sign that your mic is not a fake. there are in fact many fake 57s and 58s out there so be wary of too good to be true deals.

Hi there, i just got an sm57 and with all my curiosity i unscrewed the top part and 2 small red wires fell... i dont see any red wires in yours... is the top section wired to the mid part?

yes, of course. Red wires are between the cap and the mid part. Then there are 2 wires, yellow and green, until the XLR connector.
