  • I THINK OUT OF ALL THEM FIDDLES YOU PLAYED, THE 'IBANEZ J-45' HAD THE FULLEST ROUNDEST SOUND, WITH LOADS OF SUSTAIN, AND THE PINCH HARMONICS WERE ASTOUNDING. WHAT KIND OF AMP WERE YOU PLAYING THROUGH?

  • this one sounds best for this song

  • that is a very nice banjo pretty expensive but I think worth it.

  • @liveforrock1 You can find them used reasonable. I wouldn't go directly to the company to get one made any longer. If they have one off the rack, you might be able to get a deal. I got one off the rack and one used, but had a lot of trouble with them on a guitar order, and now I have a guitar that I have a lot of trouble with because it's not right.

Used is best, their rep is holding down the used value of their instruments - makes for a good buy.

  • That banjo sounds really clean. The fender didn't sound as good. But I think the Gibson Earls Scruggs Golden Deluxe sounded the brightest.. Oh and there's a mandolin in the tuba. lol

  • I own a Crafters of Tennessee Mahogany Classic. I love the sound of the mahogany banjos, more mellow with a bit of a pop. I got mine back when they were cheaper. Check out the prices now!! Great American company!

  • he's good!

  • For my money, this Crafters has the best overall sound...

  • Anybody got this song 'Big Sandy River' as dulcimer tab?
