  • @maraxxl - OMG.. you have just brought so much sunshine into my life.. :) I do not have a garden. I live in an apartment.. but I will try to find the seeds and grow in a pot. How long did it take you to get the fruit? I love this fruit! Thank you so much:)

  • @irilight I grow them successfully in northern Germany, so it should definitly work in San Francisco. If you don't have a garden try a pot on a balcony.

    I bought the seeds in a shop. But from then on I used the seeds from the fruits I harvested. So I guess yoo could just use the seeds from the physalis you can buy in a shop.

    However you just said that this is the problem. Physalis (from Columbia!) are pretty common here even in rural supermarkets. People use them as garnish for cocktails etc.
