"i aint an activist, i cant do shit. id rather be a pacifist with a full clip"... one of the dopest lines ever. now more than ever with all the occupy the street bullshit. BANG ON OUT!!
Its mighty funny how alot of people say canibus isn't diverse & only spits about battle rhymes & how hes lyrically better than everyone else when FWTBT for the majority he touched on deep topics not to mention he has other songs in his catalog where he speaks on other things: U Don't Cee, Aids is Gold HIV is platnium, Channel Zero, My Crew, In the rain, GYBAOTC, Whats going on, Hype-nitis, I Honor U, No Return, & much more! People man I swear LOL bis gets almost as much hate as lil wayne nowdays
He knows it himself, nobody is appreciating what he is bringing to music. Too bad most music listeners are fucking stupid and only care about how it sounds as opposed to what is being said. Fuck mainstream.
@JoeNalgas "lost wisdom from the lost kingdom" check out Prince Ea man....... he's coming up, kicking some next level shit, I can hear the Canibus influence in him. I could see a torch passing some day. Canibus's vocabulary and flow are so advanced though... this is pure head music "confusing to most yet i find it remedial" !!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love this music, pure crack
@HipHopResurrection11 first of all.. Lil B is a huge huge fan of Canibus, he's tweeted about him a few times. Canibus and Lil B are very similar in their thinking. Canibus's vocabulary and straight writing ability are much better, Lil B is more upbeat and shit. but subject wise? Lil B touched on philosophy and life just like 'Bis does, less conspiracy theory though. check out Lil B's song "The Age of Information" .. if you're a fan of Canibus, you'll be able to appreciate it. get back at me man.
@sublime8992 Love the concept but his lyrical skills ant up to par with Bises. I might check out some of his other stuff but I just really like sick lyrics. Beat was also dope...
Can-I-Bus truly is the best lyrically and I am grateful that people like him are bringing this information out to the people. Anyone who doesn't not think he is the best simply doesn't fully understand his music. Regardless how many people recognize his talent at the moment, the day will come when everyone will understand. I will continue to purchase ALL his CD's and support him as an artist the best I can.
everyone talks about canibus in a way like "HES THE BEST" "HE SMARTER THAN EVERY OTHER RAPPER" if you truly listen to his music and see the spirituality in it. the knowledge and learn.... youll no theres no such word as BEST
@3DaysInDarkness That's not true. Tupac was for peace, love and equality underneath the majority of his song's lyrics. He may have lived negatively but he tried to enlighten his people and in the end its the effort that counts. He exposed the media for what it was and spread his words of wisdom to others, that is what true rappers/MCs/artists etc do.
Actually the sun does move, :) it rotates along side, inside the Milky way galaxy around the central core, and the Galaxy itself moves around .... (no one knows)
Handpicked the evil bastard called "Magnum Innominandum"
Prospect212 I too looked up Magnum Innominandum, and just to think that Canibus took the time to read up on these things says a lot about his as a man and lyricist
Just my opinion.( I probly am off my meds I quit smoking weed a month ago). Im not huge into hip hop or rap but I like what bis has to say it has alot of thought besides just a plain rhyme. Again just my opinion so take it for no more than it is.
I havent heard Canibus spit in a long time. this is off his most recent album and I see the dude hasnt lost a step. if anything he's improved, keep it up bis
I always knew that Canibus was deep, but this song alone made me happy I purchased the album. After reading some of the comments, I googled some of the lyrics, such as Von Braun and "Magnum Innominadum" Educating yourself on what he is speaking about, makes this track even more compelling and powerful. Will always be a fan of Canibus!
Canibus fans are like a secret society. It's all out in the open but only a few can decipher, trust me Canibus NEVER wastes a bar, it's all significant. I know everything he's talking about in this song, you gotta read alot of books to get on the level Canibus is at mentally, plus have alien DNA haha. Y'all check my page if you get a chance, I got my whole mixtape plus new tracks posted. New mixtape Nov 08, free download. 1
Just reality, what's the point in writing optomistic when you can speak truth objectively, ask Joe Biden and Colin Powell. Canibus knows what it is, humankind is on the brink of extinction. "I ain't an activist, I can't do shit, I'd rather be a pacifist with a full clip". Couldn't have possibly said it better myself. Search the Georgia Guidestones to see the plan, almost 6 billion overpopulation lol. Actually I ain't laughin at all, fuck that and fuck the New World Order. 1
I think optimism and objectively are not mutually exclusive. The greatest (and most evil) leaders rose and governed on themes of optimism; their legacies are distinguished by how they used the trust given to them. It's easier to surrender to circumstance than to correct it. A man's thought is always connected to his circumstance whether or not he sees it.
What I'm saying is Canibus knows the plan and he's saying he can't do shit about it. We create our own reality so optomism is vital, but personally I'm just optomistic I'll be in a better "place" once my physical's gone. This world is corrupted from top to bottom, only a global concious awakening could prevent the events predicted since antiquity. Reality is crazier than any science fiction writer could've even imagined a century ago. Really though, what can one person do against the NWO?
Maybe itll take one significant event to trigger a global concious awakening or revolution, till then i think ones just gotta be positive & show love to his fellow man.
Exactly, until then you can only do what's in your power to do, but no one person by himself can save humankind from extinction, I can't remember what my original point I was trying to make though. I think it was something about being positive with his lyrics, and it's good to be positive but you gotta also look at reality objectively. I know we create our own reality but WE is the collective conciousness of all existance, not one person, and our collective conciousness is predominantly evil.
But those of pure evil are born good and corrupted by society. therefore every1 is evil on the inside. The devil is not a figurehead to be scared of. The devil is more of a feeling and is within every1 same as fear and hate and love.
Word, polarity is only in the physical universe, not in the higher realm, just like time, the 4th dimention. Therefore all judgement is erroneous, when the Bible says "Judge not lest you be judged first" that's what it means. But in the physical world, good and evil exist, but it's all illusion, just like the rest of the physical universe, a manifestation of collective conciousness. 1
The beat for this is so piercing and poignant. It complements the sorrowful tone of the lyrics, which oddly enough has soft undertones of optimism. Simply masterful.
i'll bet that the people that stumble onto these videos would have to google more than half of his lyrics... assuming they are inclined to define the things they don't understand
if you have any faith in the wisdom of ancient peoples, then you have some reason to believe that the next few years will shake this world to its foundations
"it's happened before / it'll happen again"
ice ages, world domination, extinction. it's happened before, how can we think it will never happen again?
"it's happenin' over there, it'll spread here my friend"
the degradation of latin america countries may be a glimpse into the future for the US
Yo i still luv Lupe,Common etc but i aint heard them spit about planet X,Extraterrestrials,Universal balance & alignment etc,NWO,Dimensions & other Deep shit.
i dont think it'd be false...lupe has flow and some depth, but wen it comes to canibus, u gotta lissen to it several times JUS to grasp wat he's talkin about and his lyrics are way more meaningful and more towards da human race and "uplifting" the ppl if u think about it
what? lupe is more geared to uplifting people...i dont see how canibus is trying to do that, he jus spits random knowledge which is cool, but i dont think it has a point but then again, i love 2000 b.c. and it has metaphorical madness, and that's jus for shock value, i still take lupe anyday that's jus me
He dosent just spit random knowledge that dosent have a point, its just that some of the things he says only a very few actually truely know what the meaning of these things are, hes on another level, Lupe's still mean though no doubt, they are both a positive breath of fresh air.
Wish this track was longer!! Damn Canibus is on another level 4 real, he's the deepest MC ever to me, dude speaks on so many topics, and spits so hard he could battle fukn aliens!
A weapon of mass destruction givin' global instructions
Teaching us how to hate but does it in a way that we love it
One of the greatest quotes I've heard from Canibus. THIS is real hip-hop. People need to put down this Mike Jones, Yung Joc and 50 Cent bullshit and realise that when those pussies are finished talking about money or bitches they're simply out of rhymes.
very accurate. i gotta think suge shot tupac, too, even tho id love to believe hes still alive. chargers are the shit tho, buddy O;j much love. one love. i like snoops pimpslap , tho, to atleast bitchslap suge lyrically, out in the open. ps, if you havent watched roasted ~doug e fresh~ that shit is legit. new world order comin.
I listen to him though, everything he has to say, because in a way im always in a state of sadness and mourning. I'll smoke and listen to him to try to become uplifted and find motivation in my life.
He is a great rapper and people stay away from him because they don't like his concepts, style, and beats. People aren't interested in hearing what he has to say and I'm sure that upsets him. He's also, i think, very motivated by his fans who go on youtube boards and keep posting how ill he is. But ultimately, we keep supporting Canibus because hes a underdog and were all underdogs.
Canibus is a poet. Hes agenda is very different than all emcees. He's not consumed or motivated to talk about the struggle of people for example, or religion. For example, many of the 80's rappers would speak about civil rights issues but Canibus now is pretty much content with his life as a civilian in America so he doesn't speak about it. But he is self-absorbed in his work and himself. He boasts about himself and how good he is and how hard he worked for it.
and although these emcees talk about similar subjects, they bring it in a different and creative way. this is why i prefer them over canibus. anyway, we jus have to agree to disagree
haha smart statement bro, its called frequency. It's like the radio, when you turn the nob different sounds play.. same with Canibus. It's a knowledge//power above the average man [from experience]
A lot of his shit is just made for his interpretation. But, if he wants you to know something, he'll make it clear.
It's pretty hard to fill a cd with messages. One song takes so many words.... so of course it's pretty hard to stay consistant with his "preaching" style. Only so much you got to say, yet so many bars to fill. Though, I do feel what you're saying. This is my favorite style from him.
i hear u, but i think that's a poor excuse to not spit that way, look and common and lupe they say alot of the same things, but the way they bring it is original, so it's not very hard imo to bring a message in most songs. that's how i feel about!
Nah. It's not a poor excuse. In this song he's giving instructions basically. He can't do that all the time. He can go and spit like this all the time, but it won't be the same. This is a lot more simple than his usual shit. Think about his writing style. He has to bring heat every time, and he can't keep it simple like this all time time, or else he doesn't fill that standard he sets each album.
HAHA@SIMPLE now ur undermining rapper and mcs that do that shit homie, shit ur almost insulting. he CAN do that all the time, he just opts not to, and as i stated before there are mcs that do it A-FUKIN-GAIN...lupe, common, mos def, myself, akrobatik, and the list goes on. look im not claimin to kno everything. there's things i think i know, and there's things i know i know. this i know i know
I'm honestly dumbfounded you've compared a rapper of Canibus' caliber to someone like Lupe or Common. Neither one of them have the word play or even the raw intellect of Canibus. It's one thing to talk about issues, its another to craft your rhymes with pure knowledge and perfectly tied historical references. Canibus does not rap on humanistic levels, he is a galactic rapper. Common/Lupe/Mos Def or any of the others rappers could only dream to ever get to where he is.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
i think they're all deep on different levels, but to say that canibus is deeper than lupe or vice-versa would be false imo
ElGuerreroSolo 3 years ago
Yo i still luv Lupe,Common etc but i aint heard them spit about planet X,Extraterrestrials,Universal balance & alignment etc,NWO,Dimensions & other Deep shit.
KiwiBro26 3 years ago 4
fo sho, that is for certain ~ i still got love for killa cam tho, bc Big L got him his first moves in the game. Much love to everyone,
texassniper0008 3 years ago
i dont think it'd be false...lupe has flow and some depth, but wen it comes to canibus, u gotta lissen to it several times JUS to grasp wat he's talkin about and his lyrics are way more meaningful and more towards da human race and "uplifting" the ppl if u think about it
casso9 3 years ago 5
what? lupe is more geared to uplifting people...i dont see how canibus is trying to do that, he jus spits random knowledge which is cool, but i dont think it has a point but then again, i love 2000 b.c. and it has metaphorical madness, and that's jus for shock value, i still take lupe anyday that's jus me
ElGuerreroSolo 3 years ago
thats cool, to each their own i guess
casso9 3 years ago
He dosent just spit random knowledge that dosent have a point, its just that some of the things he says only a very few actually truely know what the meaning of these things are, hes on another level, Lupe's still mean though no doubt, they are both a positive breath of fresh air.

Fuck that freemason, Canibus would FUCK HIM UP!

freemason is a religion dude, its not a person
colombianh3ro 3 years ago
I know that already man, it's not even a religion, it's a sect.
Elmeromero1 3 years ago 4
wen u worship something as ur god n millions of people do it also, its calld a religion
colombianh3ro 3 years ago
Define religion my friend, especifically what do you speak of, please do clarify.
Elmeromero1 3 years ago
isnt it in the name itself a religion somthing you rely on
llDjErMzll 3 years ago
...it's still not a religion in the sense...
So , if you say the Freemason's is a religion, then so are street gangs, and so are coalitions, et. al.
Is that what you mean?
Elmeromero1 3 years ago
Wish this track was longer!! Damn Canibus is on another level 4 real, he's the deepest MC ever to me, dude speaks on so many topics, and spits so hard he could battle fukn aliens!
KiwiBro26 3 years ago 2
Turn the radio and TV off, think for a second
Technology is a blessing but it's also a weapon
A weapon of mass destruction givin' global instructions
Teaching us how to hate but does it in a way that we love it
One of the greatest quotes I've heard from Canibus. THIS is real hip-hop. People need to put down this Mike Jones, Yung Joc and 50 Cent bullshit and realise that when those pussies are finished talking about money or bitches they're simply out of rhymes.

Not much to add here. You know what your talking about, but you forgot "Soulja Boy."

I listen to him though, everything he has to say, because in a way im always in a state of sadness and mourning. I'll smoke and listen to him to try to become uplifted and find motivation in my life.
armen925 3 years ago
He is a great rapper and people stay away from him because they don't like his concepts, style, and beats. People aren't interested in hearing what he has to say and I'm sure that upsets him. He's also, i think, very motivated by his fans who go on youtube boards and keep posting how ill he is. But ultimately, we keep supporting Canibus because hes a underdog and were all underdogs.
armen925 3 years ago 8
Canibus is a poet. Hes agenda is very different than all emcees. He's not consumed or motivated to talk about the struggle of people for example, or religion. For example, many of the 80's rappers would speak about civil rights issues but Canibus now is pretty much content with his life as a civilian in America so he doesn't speak about it. But he is self-absorbed in his work and himself. He boasts about himself and how good he is and how hard he worked for it.
armen925 3 years ago
and although these emcees talk about similar subjects, they bring it in a different and creative way. this is why i prefer them over canibus. anyway, we jus have to agree to disagree

Every number he drops has a diffrent meaning. Even his voice has a meaning for it. look it up.

what do you mean by that

haha smart statement bro, its called frequency. It's like the radio, when you turn the nob different sounds play.. same with Canibus. It's a knowledge//power above the average man [from experience]

ElGuerreroSolo 3 years ago
haha he always come wit fire i unno wut u sayin
mcmastermind 3 years ago 4
i mean talkin about shit like this, and he dont spit like he used to IMO
ElGuerreroSolo 3 years ago
A lot of his shit is just made for his interpretation. But, if he wants you to know something, he'll make it clear.
It's pretty hard to fill a cd with messages. One song takes so many words.... so of course it's pretty hard to stay consistant with his "preaching" style. Only so much you got to say, yet so many bars to fill. Though, I do feel what you're saying. This is my favorite style from him.
CheezemanCheddar 3 years ago
i hear u, but i think that's a poor excuse to not spit that way, look and common and lupe they say alot of the same things, but the way they bring it is original, so it's not very hard imo to bring a message in most songs. that's how i feel about!
ElGuerreroSolo 3 years ago
CheezemanCheddar 3 years ago
HAHA@SIMPLE now ur undermining rapper and mcs that do that shit homie, shit ur almost insulting. he CAN do that all the time, he just opts not to, and as i stated before there are mcs that do it A-FUKIN-GAIN...lupe, common, mos def, myself, akrobatik, and the list goes on. look im not claimin to kno everything. there's things i think i know, and there's things i know i know. this i know i know
ElGuerreroSolo 3 years ago
An other song where he takes a ''messenger'' role is in Channel Zero

werd that's hot.
