dude if you have union bindings you can buy the ics boards because unions have a universal disck size, so when the baord comes they have a ics disk so just incase you dont have ics bindings you can still ride

ok so i, thinking about buying an 08 used one and i have a few questions.

1-is $250 an ok price?

2-im confused about the whole ics deal. does the 08 have it? can it be removed? are burton the only brand of bindings that work with it?

and 3-can only burton bindings be used with burton boards? and can only burton boots with burton bindings?

1. dude 250 is a great price cuz it was 550 last year

2. the ics is sick. the binding has no base plate so it gives more flex to your board and its more comfortable to ride with. and any binding can be used. ics is an option. you can use regular bindings on it but the burton ests really stretch the board to its full potential.

3. any bindings can be used with burton boards and any boots can be used

well dude although true, with the new 3D shit that they got going on, you only have one option and you cant make your stance wider on burton boards without compatible burton bindings (3D's)

if you can get it without ics (if you do not have est bindings) get it! 250 is an awesome price!! and I dont know about ics with normal bondongs just ask about it at the shop

i ride the jeremy 08 ,that is a sick price but you have the consider how much use was put on it,burton is not the only brand that can work on it, as long as you have a 2 hole baseplate( i think flux is making them now too) you can use it on the ics system, you can use any binding on it as long as it has a 2 hole plate and burton boots fits the BEST in burton bindings, it doesnt necessarily have to be all burton.

but think about it. romain and jp have both been constantly hurt the last few years and while theres no doubt that theyre both amazing riders, the fact is, you have to get coverage and/or win competitions to keep your pro status.. its their job. so if theyre falling back with burton and a big company like nike comes and offers them a big secure check, its not unlikely that theyd take it. not saying YOU said anything, but its hard to say theyre sellouts... put yourself in their situation.
