In the air lean to the opposing side of the bike (because I said it's left, lean right), then take the leg that coresponds with the side that's kicked out (in this case the left leg), then slide your lifted leg up to the airbox or number plate and pull with your leg. Or you can pull the leg straight out to the side and pull it down, flatening the bike, and then panic rev to return it.

No, a save is when your riding trail going 50km/h and you dont see a rock, your front tire hits the right side of the rock, throwing your front to the right and your bike almost horrizontal. Without thinking you turn into it, barely grabbing the front tire, practically standing on the ride side of your bike, and whipping it up. You did a little tail throw. Most people do that for fun.
