I think you did a good job. However, I already decided on a homebirth. No one will decide when I give birth on when I push. If the baby is happy it will come when IT wants. I will not go into hospital unless I feel have to. I've heard too many horror stories,
I just wanted to add that my main motivation for home birth is that home is my domain. I am naturally more comfortable there, so the birth process is not hindered by the stress of unfamiliar surroundings. If hospital staff can respect the woman then that helps, but it's hard to beat the control and comfort you have in your own house.
Great job! I hope you do more vids like this. I am a mom to 5 children, all born at home and I really respect where you are coming from. You are right, the issue isn't so much about home vs hospital, it's about human rights vs medical authority. I'm ready to see women being respected and their birth process being unhindered from it's normal, healthy process.
@4breastfeeding I am so glad that you liked the video! And I think it's awesome that you were able to have your children at home, in your own environment where you felt most comfortable. That's what it's all about. :)
@4breastfeeding Aww, thank you so much for your kind words. I am a nurse by profession and as someone who has a career in the medical field, my dream is to become an advocate for health care providers to be more sensitive to the needs to pregnant mothers and decrease the amount of medical intervention that is routine in American births. I'd love to somehow make a difference.

@JilliansMommy19 If homebirthing moms need anything it's moms like you, with a foot in the hospital and a friendly hand towards us. Thank you.
