i should be getting my mm 5700 today! feb 27, 08, so the 20t pinion works good? castle creations told me start at 17t, but w/e i know what im doing, they just said dont let the motor go over 200f,

well a RTR version would be around $300, this is wat i bought at first, but then when my chassi cracked, after tons of bashing, then i went for the Factory Team edition kit, costin arnd $230, which includes a ton of upgrades dat da RTR doesnt have, and its way ligher n stuff..

but with kit u need to buy all electronics..

the elctronics:

Radio system (incl transmitter, reciver, 2 servos) = $100 - $600 (depends, AM/FM/Digital)

Spped Controller = $50 - $150 (depends on wats the turn limit, brushed/brushless motor support)

Motor = $20 - $150 (depends on the turns, brsuhed/brushless)

wat i have in that truck is a Castle Creations Mamba Maxx 5700kv *brushless* mototr system, which means virtually maintenance free for life, faster then brushed motor setups, better run times..

i was runnin again 2day on this ramp and like 5 minutes into the jumps i roke my rear shock tower, the thing flew like 11feet high and 5 feet away, lol i tried to catch it but couldnt and landed on a nearby car's windsheild, hahaha

cool ramp, maybe it needs to be a little heavier? for some reason i couldnt break my t4 jumping that jeep, i must have jumped it 10 times.

lol i know eh, i didnt break anything, jus a lil bend on the rear hinge pins but yeah, when i was jumpin off this ramp i landed upside down from like 7 feet and didnt even break, lol and i had this spin off when my t4 went off the ramp midway at full speed, it was going straight but turning around liek from side to side like as if it were getting drilled through the air, and it landed liek 10 feet away and it ket running, lol

its jus dat ofter 3 10feet jumps my motor shifted & the mesh between my pinion & spur became too tight so i stopped recording or else i wouldve kept goin, its hella fast & strong this thing jus doesnt give up

& ur juumps were on grass rite? try on asphalt

afetr like 10 jumps off 15ft high stairs all i broke was 2 rear shock towers & a crack in my rear chassi plate & a lil peice off da gearbox, all very small, i couldve kept runinng, but if ur gona do jumps, esp on asphault, invest in sum alloy parts for the rear
