Jack didn't know anything about X9. As far he was concerned, X9 was just YET ANOTHER robot sent to kill him or capture him. Either seeking the bounty or just made to do this. And while Jack is a nice guy, he is not above killing his foes. Especially robots.

And in order to get Lulu back, X9 had to kill Jack.

Not that Jack knew. Jack only killed him in self defense. Like almost every other bounty hunter and Aku robot.

If you come after Jack seeking his bounty or on a mission from Aku, he will usually show no mercy.

aah.. i remember this episode. the thing he shot was a dummy jack made and when he goes over to see, jack beats him. he sees the picture of the dog after, though, yeah... it was a weird one xD;

@arcaneminded ..What? No offense, and you probably think different since this was a month old, but Samurai Champloo was a period piece type show and animé. Lots of Japanese history in it.

Samurai Jack.. Is waay different. He has one clear known enemy, it takes place in the future, and he's trying to return to his time. There's much more I could say.

One of the oustanding episode "Tales of X9" about that robot with a suit and wear hat, Just looks alike this guy of Q (human with his mask) from SF3rd:Third Strike.

I never scen that delete scenes forever, but I seen this already too..

they changed it slightly so there would be no naughty words( because it was sposed to be for all ages) not bad,doesn't ruin the show cause they remove one bad word, when he shot the guy though wasn't it cause he thought it was jack ,but was actually robot?(cant remember)

Tales of X9 is one the best episodes, if not the best in the whole series. I will upload it eventually, unfortunately it is in season 4 so it might be a while. My personal favorite though.
