....the way i see it is you gotta strip the fuck'n car now one word was on the mind after that race (rebuild) so im guessing thats what you'll be doing and maybe give the chevy a 15.284 run
That Riviera sure caught up with the Camaro at the end of the 1/4 mile...reminds me of my own '67 Riviera, my first car, which also saved its best punch for when you were winding it up at high speed. Great high speed cruising car...and IMHO underrated at 360 hp.
Reminds me of my own (totally stock) 67 Riviera...it was a little slower off the line than a typical Chevy big block, like that Camaro this one was racing against, but that 430cube engine had a lot more at the top end than the 427 Chevy--a real high speed cruiser, and at 360 advertised hp it was probably underrated to keep the insurance companies from getting scared. (Buick and Pontiac both rated their engines more conservatively.)
Yep, bone stock. Also 2 days after that the tranny let loose so it's sitting until I get some time to fix it. I made 6 runs that night, I should of stopped at 5. LOL
It looks good, i have a Riv-67 in Sweden, gold with black vinyl top, keep the revs up on the 430,they are build to run!

Well, the motor is finally coming out. The tranny is getting rebuilt and the motor won't be stock when it goes back in

@BobWXXI they actually were under rated. 360 hp supposedly. They were more around the high 370's
