I've read a lot of comments on different posts now about how Kobe is better than Bird, Kobe is better than Jordan, but it's all pure speculation. The argument about players today being faster and more agile is ludicrous, there were plenty of agile legends playing when Bird played, but he still stopped them in his tracks. Bird was well documented as being slow and unable to jump, but he could take over a game whenever he chose to, along with Magic.

shooting? kobe shot better 3pt % in the playoffs, teamwork and passing, larry only average 1 assist more, thats a wash on better passer. rebounding? larry has an advantage. handles? larry has more turnovers. defence? kobe 9 all team def, larry 0. offence? kobe #1, larry number 27 soon to be 30th. clutch? lol. kobe 36 gamewinning shot, larry 20 maybe. i know jordan has 27. kobes better!

larrys shooting in the finals wad the best either, in fact kobe shot better from the 3 pt line as well in the playoffs. overall larry rebounded and passed better. Barely better passer. Only 1 assist apart. plus kobe is 3 times a better offencive player. Number 1 vs number 30 in 4 years.
