Dom.....nice work mate.....if you had 'flattened' the image after the first 2, could you have done the final 3rd image the same way as you did the first ??......
Would you be able to make a video on how an image looks in focus at one point and out of focus at another, think its depth of feild or something, i mean like have the person in focus and the back ground out of focus?
oh right, then yeah gimp add gaussian blur, then rub out the parts of the image where you dont want the blur, same as my car photo but insted of using motion blur.
I found the gaussian blur but how do I rub out the face to make it in focus again? Like where do I find the tool that does that? I can't afford a 50mm lens either. Thank you for posting these videos and being there to answer peoples questions. Can't thank you enough.
another cool video, i tried the coming out of tv one but i couldnt get the outline of my body quite right. ill do a few more and hopefully ill get better. thanks for these cool tutorials!!
Hey bud, i might make a few videos, well i will make some videos soon in july i had a thing happen and my d200 broke so i'll most likely upgrade but in july im buying me a Sony cam so i can make some better videos and for sure i will make some video's that you've asked us to do and try out some different ones, but for right now for about 2-3 weeks im stuck this way haha, your more and welcome to use it in a video just like this, and then i will see if i can do something like this
Thanks for these post editing videos you've been doing. I don't have Lightroom but I have an older version of Photoshop I use along with Picasa. I'm absolutely dreadful at post editing so anymore videos like this are a big help for me. Thanks for sharing your knowledge Dom!
it can be as easy or as difficult as you want it to be. I have seen tutorials on cds in backs of magazines that have tried to explain this editing and it has taken over half an hour , not including the photshoot!!
thank you so much. exactly what i needed

that can be done with the lens, if you want to do it in post production its just adding gaussian blur. if you want ill try make one later
dombower 2 years ago
Yeah im not able to afford a camera like that, iv got a canon power shit g3 lol

use a layer mask and the errasor tool. check the other videos and you will start to figure it out
dombower 2 years ago
Hey Dom,
Can't you just use a tripod, do the sequence of photos and merge them all into one image instead of doing the eraser and blah bah blah?
VinceoRiffik 2 years ago
merge....... like a panorama????? can you explain your merge technique, also would that work if parts are over lying each other like at 6.39m
dombower 2 years ago
merge like laying photo on top of photo,
VinceoRiffik 2 years ago
thats what i did, then i have to rub out the parts of the photo that is on top to get the image below seen.... did you watch this video?
dombower 2 years ago
Did you really have to go through the WHOLE picture taking/uploading phase??!
Other than that, nice tutorial mate ;-)
mikegorton5714 2 years ago
it helps demonstrate how quick it can all be done in. also how easily the images can be taken with at the start.
