for everyone here i don't think u can compare dmc's combo system with gow3 combo system because gow3 combo system utilizes attack pattern and grab as opposed to dmc which utilizes attack cancellation and carefully timed weapon swaps of both melee and ranged weapon now dmc4's nero combo differs in that he has a grab move but i feel like it also utilizes different grab as opposed to gow3

A ton of hours. I think the whole video took us about 1-2 months to complete but we were busy with other stuff aswell. Playing GoW3 was pretty much all we did back then when we had time.

You have to change weapons just before that move comes out. It will do the animation of the blades but it will use the weapon you selected. The timing is pretty tricky for some animations, you gotta try for yourself.

Both, but every combo you see in this video was planned out. That was the easiest part actually. Finally getting the combo done with all the weapon-switching etc took most of the time. It may not look like it but some of the stuff required immense amount of precision.

And the devs already saw it, they were actually one of the first who watched the video when it came out. They even commented here if you search for it ;)
