You guys do know that everyone is spelling 'colonel' wrong, yes? It was Colonel Doctor. Cornel is also a misspelling, just that that of Cornell, a college in Ithaca, New York.
The only cool things about this intro are JD, Cox, Mahony(spelling?), Turk, Cornell Doctor and Drew. I say Drew cause he's an exact copy of Cox. You may think otherwise, but watch all episodes and look at how he acts, and also how he looks. He is the young version of Cox, and I think they will make this more obvious later on. This could be a sign of Cox's retirement in the show.
@calzagheisthebest JD left after 6 episodes though he only actually appeared in 5. after he left Lucy took over. i liked her as a side narrator but when she became full time narrator i hated it. R.I.P scrubs.
Forget about the new interns- the old characters were just as bad.
This clip sums up how far downhill the show had gone. JD in particular used to be a normal guy (if somewhat quirky), and over time the comedic elements of his personality got so exaggerated that he became a parody of himself. As seen here.

scrubs without JD isn't scrubs at all. i was fine with Lucy narrating while JD was there. it was funny. but when JD left it all went downhill.
