there is also a Mexican 21 yr old graduate male in Germany and his working with ESA in Cologne IN Germany speaks 4 lenguage hes incredible smart and intelligent, and we Mexican friends are very proud of him . I make him an interview for a magazine and hes awesome handsome dude and so commited to space programs in Europe : Why not in Mexico as he says we dont have a real industrie in aerospace . but he would not change his carrer for other thing hes happy.
i dont understand why you would work on missile defense my friend when someone as smart as you could be helping us get to mars and further thats the best missile defense. That way we can't kill each other all in place like seem to keep edging closer and closer to.
Oh man. after I bomed the living crap our of that physics mid term and engg mid term, I wonder whether I can get in to aerospace................sexy video bdw.
Ok AE, what you do is kind of cool. But don't like the social impact portrayed in this video - honestly, I'd feel guilty knowing that my ideas were used to build a missile that landed into someone else's house...while kids and wife are having dinner. Can you build a device to track forest loss or coral reefs in developing countries (this is, a cost-effective device)?
Well said, but, there are ways to track forest loss, which are being implemented world-wide...as for weaponry, i think that is also needed, everything must be in moderation, not too much...not too less...the middle path is best. Missiles can also be used to counter extra-terrestrial threats like Asteroids etc...it's upto us humans, to choose if we want to bomb a house with a family in it, or strike a incoming asteroid that will strike the house instead of our missiles...
Going into this field of study does it help having a Aeronautics degree? Well not to brag I have a Aviation Business degree as well! Well hopefully I can get answer... Thanks guys Keep being creative I will keep flying! Averett University BABY!!!! lol
Well you mean keeping safe and democratic places like Iraq and going in war with countries that ore not willingly give there oil and resources to the Us. And supporting a killer and occupier state like Israel that kills thousand of innocent children in Gaza.
Oh please, give me a break. It is military applications that created the advances in aerospace technology. Do you think the Saturn program was just for fun? It was entirely to show the USSR we could do it. And you should thank the "glorious" US. We have kept half the world safe from "jack booted thugs" for over half a century.
a pity that the video is just showin this military side of areospace.....
and i dont think that the guy, who made this vid, ever thought about the fact that people are dying because of this missiles etc....no matter if they are enemys of this "glorious" US.........
and astronautics is a much wider and much more fascinating (in my opinion) field than demonstrated in the video......
I'm goin to SLU next year for aerospace engineering. I cant count all the funny looks I got during my last semester of high school. Be careful in England though, you might find yourself working on crappy Airbus. You should teach them to use the same software. Also, aerospace/aviation has been traditionally white males, but the Tuskeegee airmen did a hell of a job. I have no idea why there arent many minorities in aviation.
Hello (You Black Flight Instructor Copy) & I'm instrument rated ready for service Sir! Come visit Averett University we have over 10 people of color with Instrument rating/4 with private pilot ID's (7 African Americans) trust me were out here! I'm going in the military or back to school for some Aerospace Engineering Education!
Embry-Riddle does pwn MIT from what I heard. I'm going to go to the UA for my undergrad school and maybe embry riddle for grad. They only offer up to a mba though, no phd. But I don't think i want a phd anyway. The space part of aerospace is interesting too. I cant decide if I want to do the aviation branch or the space branch but I dont have to worry about that for a long time
I hear that MIT do a year exchange with Imperial College London in aeronautical engineering. That means the two universities are around the same quality, right?
lol....MIT pwnz any other engineering college (and that's coming from a non-MIT engineering student). BUT...when it comes to specialized engineering, some schools are better. Embry-Riddle pwnz MIT in aerospace engineering.

This is total white accomplishment with out any help from black, brown or yellow people. Like it or not thats the way it is and I am prowd of them.Let them rave on GOD has given us this mission.
Well you must be out of the loop, and god skipped out on you because you barely know how to spell "proud" and im an aerospace engineer, and im only 21 i was one of the youngest graduates from MIT, and no im not white. I can't believe that my work on missile defense is going to save an idiot like you that doesn't even know how to spell, and has some of the most ignorant views i have ever heard. I bet you're like 35 and had to apply for food stamps because Mcdonalds doesn't give you enough money.

Go fuck yourself you go damn ass hole i bet your some white trash hick. Why don't you just go back to your minimum wage job and use the food stamps you bitch. ps. go give your mom a turkish snowcone
@rocketman4512 with great power comes great responsibility. A man of your stature should handle himself with more humility. Not look down on others because of your higher education. Congrats on your grad from MIT.
@rocketman4512 That's an impressive resume you have there. I guess I just have to be satisfied with my physics degree from UT and my nursing license that I got for only $7500 at a local college. I'm only making $200,000 from the staffing company I started, so I guess I didn't have to spend big bucks on an overpriced, East Coast school. I may not be Ivy League material, but at least I'm bringing home bank, and I know how to capitalize my "I's", but you have fun with your government job, buddy.
@rocketman4512 this isn't a spelling bee.. and becoming an aerospace engineer at age 21 really isn't a big deal. I'm 21 and just graduated from aerospace engineering at Ryerson Uni in Canada. My friend turned 20 a month ago and he was also in my graduating class. Assuming you weren't typing bs, the fact that you just graduated means you're an amateur. You probably had almost no work experience when you made that comment and any senior professional engineer would laugh at your ignorant comment.
An MIT Alumni member would never base a fellow individual's intellectual capacity off of a misspelled word, much less create an irrational argument based on the dynamic nature of popularized religious cliches. Who was your professor? Which laboratory wing did you utilize? The saddest part is that you actually received 16 thumbs up. Not to mention the fact that your grammar too is flawed to the same degree.
And the reason why people are siding with you is because there seems to bear a striking resemblance to the infamous Colonial American era. Where Britain's oppression was attempted to by neutralized by France, and therefore, America sided with France, and it ended up backfiring. Youtube = Colonial America, Antithetical Opponent = Britain, You = France, and therefore, Youtube = Pro-You, even if you sir, rocketman4512 are an idiot. So quit bashing people, and enjoy the video, fag.
@rocketman4512 AN IDIOT CALLING SOMEONE ELSE AN IDIOT.FIRST OF ALL MISTER I GRADUATED FROM MIT AT 21 AND I AM THE YOUNGEST GRADUATE AT MIT.THERE ARE A LOT OF STUDENTS THAT GRADUATE AT THAT AGE, SO SPARE ME THE DRAMA! YOU TALK ABOUT SPELLING BUT ARE NOT LOOKING AT YOUR OWN MISTAKES. WHEN YOU WRITE A SENTENCE WITH THE LETTER (I) YOU ALWAYS USE UPPER CAPS NOT LOWER CAPS IN YOUR SENTENCES, NUMB NUTS.
@rocketman4512 Hey I don't know what your arguing about or with who, but to me it seems pretty impressive to have graduated as an Aerospace Engineer at only 21. I'm 21 myself and I'm thinking of pursuing a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering. Of course It'll take me 8 years to attain that. I don't know if it's worth it. So could you explain a little bit about what it's like to be an Aerospace engineer? Maybe do a video? I love space exploration, will this career bring me close to that?
it was just a video i made for a presentation on aerospace engineering, basically just needed something to go along with the powerpoint. sorry, no part 2, and yeah, its chevelle.
@treswilson1111 Hey man, I got to make a power point too. My teacher only wants us to find a video and use it. Could I use yours if I give credit where it's due?
Ahhhh fucking brilliant man! i loved this video, is there a part 2 to this?.. because i thought that the video didnt finish at the end, maybe its the time limit or summin, anyway, great man, well done. But, what is all this to do with actual Aerospace Engineering? All i saw was a bunch of planes and missles flying about, didnt really go into furthur detail about the aeronautical side.... owell, thanks alot man. Nice song ;)
