  • easily Hotch's Crowning moment of awesome. this episode is my dad's absolute favorite because of this scene.

  • Lawyerd~

  • Wait just a minute...the lady at 0:41 is the same lady who plays Danny's wife in Blue Bloods? Am I correct? :O

  • Well, all right Hotch, I mean, DAMN. Going all Sherlock Holmes on the dude.

  • One of the many reasons why this show rocks: Aaron Hotchner being a total badass ;) Hotch is extremely attractive whenever he profiles :)

  • If that stuff is true . . . wouldn't the lawyer lose his job?

  • @Dawid4Real

I dunno. I guess the fact he is letting his gambling affect his job or something

  • @Phoenixangelgal Dont think it works like that XD but i think the reputation has gone down for that man and i think hes career is soon to be over

  • ahhhhh!!!! Hotch!! -3 -3 you looked extra sexyy in this clip :DDD and reid's smile -3 so cute:)) gotta say he looks wayyyy hotter with his short hair -3

  • holy shit, only Hotch can pawn a person like that.

  • @Itrainharder Well, I love Hotch, but he's not the only one who can pawn someone like that... Lightman can... And in this case, i like him more, 'cos he's a REAL ASSHOLE

  • Hotch killed him! GREAT!!!

By the way I want to say I LOVE his voice!

  • This almost makes me want to join the BAU

  • Regardless of the accuracy or likeliness of this situation, Aaron Hotchner is a complete and total BADASS. And Reid's little smile when he watches him be a badass is kind of adorable X)

  • Regardless of the accuracy or likeliness of this situation, Aaron Hotchner is a complete and total BADASS.

  • I love this scene, it's the best showmanship of Hotch's lovable personality: tough, no nonsense, smart and sexy.

  • PWN! Hotch, I will love you forever, just because of this :]

  • D E S T R O Y E D

  • I loved watching the expression on the face of that judge! It was priceless!

  • 1:24 = best line ever?

  • Hotch was just born of awesome sauce. His soul was created by Kratos, his mind crafted by the greatest thinkers in history, and his balls forged from diamonds in the heart of Mordor.

  • Hotch OWNED that lawyer. "Your blackberry goes off every 20 minutes....(Blackberry buzzes) Why don't you tell us if your luck has changed

  • Definitely one of my favorite scenes ever on the show. Hotch wrecked this dude and it was hilarious.

  • FBIAILF

(FBI Agent I'd Like To F*ck)

lmfaoo, kidding, but still he is pretty hot.

  • And that's why Hotchner is Da Chief.

  • hotch, you're fucking amazing.

  • Hotch owned. He is a BAMF...

  • U have all these best ofs...where's the one where Reid talks to the killer in the prison for five minutes straight?

  • Badass: (n.) Hotchner and Morgan

  • Just so you all know....there are many of the shows where they are wrong, or they miss something and it takes a long time to figure out the case. Yeah their good, but they have showed them as human who makes mistakes too.

  • Reid's smirk at 1:09 is priceless :D

  • @TheTetrarch and adorable XD

  • Aaron hotchner is the best BAU member out there but then his supervisor Strauss is a bad ass cowboy becuase she is a bitch

  • haha go hotch you profiler you!!!

  • Ladies and gentlemen: Aaron Hotchner. Why is he so awesome?

  • That was sweet, but it's also the thing that bothers me about the series. Often, from one detail with fifty possible explanations comes an *assumption.* On that assumption are based a few dozen more assumptions. Very rarely does *any* of it fall short of 100% accuracy or leave any detail uncovered. That's *magic,* not analysis. I'd wish they'd wind up with multiple possible explanations, pick the wrong one and have to go back a few steps, etc more often. You know, more real.

  • I totally see where you're coming from. Obviously, they have a show to keep on. And whilst I would agree that it would be more interesting to have them be wrong more often, by creating such 'perfect' characters they increase our aptitude towards them!

  • @GustavWadstrand Also, they only have an hour show. (Minus the 20 or so minutes of commercials, so more like 40 minutes. Not a lot of time to be wrong, sadly.)

  • @EcliptorCalrissian

    The terrorist oe

double episode they were wrong several times

ut yeah i know what you mean

but its a tv show. but sutdying in psychology can most likely make people right about this stuff 90% of the time

  • @EcliptorCalrissian I see what you mean, and when they're on cases with no idea who they're looking for I agree, but in this situation I think it works. I feel like it's more realistic here since he wasn't just going off of one random assumption like the matching socks and suit, but was combining that information with the buzzing phone, his knowledge of horse racing, and observations about changes in behavior to create a profile. It's Sherlock Holmes-ish, and personally I prefer it that way.

  • @EcliptorCalrissian Maybe their accuracy is due to their being considered the most elite in the country.

I mean, it must come with practice and experience but also because they're the best?

Obviously, they wouldn't be right every time. Just most of the time. Like depicted.

  • @EcliptorCalrissian - But that's what attracts the viewer to the show. The way they do things like that, coming up with theories, or assuming things from a single move that a criminal or any other person made, etc. -- it's all really appealing. At least, that's why I keep on going back to the show. It justs adds to the charm of the show. If they were wrong, and if the smart tactics that they used weren't right, then it wouldn't do anything, really. It wouldn't add to the show.

  • @EcliptorCalrissian the look on the Judges face after his blackberry buzzes, is priceless.

  • @EcliptorCalrissian Even if there are a lot of explanations, the point is that they choose the best one based on their analysis. To people like us, its guess work and any one of the explanations could be right, but to a profiler, there are very few possibilities. Although people do make mistakes. So I agree that once in a while a mistake would be nice.

  • @EcliptorCalrissian Ever seen CSI? Do you think that they can actually solve a crime within a matter of days?

  • @EcliptorCalrissian It's a long shot but on occasion, one could get it all right. The tv show simply takes that moment of "right" and puts it in the story more often than the times one gets it wrong. Would you watch a show about people getting it wrong more than they get it right?

  • @EcliptorCalrissian Its funny you should mention it, because in that very episode, the murderer is first thought to show remorse towards his victims because he buries them face down. Later we are tod that the team had to go back and correct the profile, as it was discovered that this wasn't a sign og remorse, but in fact had something to do with native american culture.

They don't make a lot of mistakes, but it does happen. (As the lawyer of the clip so elegantly argumented for)

  • Hey, it's Rex Van de Kamp!

  • This scene rocked! :-D GO HOTCH!

I first got into this show around this season and, with this being one of the first eps I saw, after this scene, Hotch became one of my all-time favorite characters out of any series. :-)

  • This was definitely one of the best scenes of the season.

Glad to know you enjoyed it!

  • greatest ownage ever!!!!

  • I love how perfectly calm he is as he completely demolishes that guy.

  • @cyberperson53 One of my favorite scenes from one of my favorite shows. He's a good actor with a very good character to play. Can't believe its the same guy who was once from the TV comedy, Darma and Greg.

  • And the moral of the story is; do not piss of Hotch.

  • I jizzed when i first saw that scene.

  • Not quite how I reacted, but I know the feeling of orgasmic triumph ;)

  • Hotch is a fukkin beast lol. I played this back at least 5 times when I seen it

  • PWND!

And Reid's little grin is adorable.
