Funny.. this is extreem illegeal here in holland & croatia, in holland they take it away from you and you can get a ticket 200-300 euro, in croatia you must go to a judge if they catch you with anti radar stuff

i have a cobra i use only Hightway in the city and it detect all the PIGS even behing me its soo cool the cop pulled behind me at an intersection and it detected him, it tihgt ass

I hate this product so much it wouldnt mount it would just fall I had it for less than a month and passed by 8 cops and when I passed by the 8th cop that was looking for people I was like fuck it and returned the piece of shit. It didnt even have false detection.

yeah, but in some cars, (both my friends Ford's) the detector does not shut off when you turn the car off, so you have to manually turn it on and off when you turn the car on and turn the car off.

Yes I turned on! Cobra warning you when the radar recording you and then it is too late, you are already caught.I have some tickets with cobra... Don t even talk about false alerts...

I have a Cobra 9440 and it paid for itself on the first save. $100 for the Cobra, how much would a speeding ticket cost? $250? Sorry, but I do not care about how much other people spend on their detectors. Maybe for that price the makers can buy a Cobra unit and protect against it.

I would rather have the cobra pointed at the sky so when its ocsilator leaks Ka, it goes up, not setting off my detector. Cobras cause false alarms on most detectors that are worth something.

It's called sarcasm. Regardless of whether it's pointed at the sky or level it's still gonna make your RD go off in close proximity. BTW I own a V1.

they had that one for sale at walmart (ESD-737 there, but same thing), but after hearing so many bad things about cobra, and questionable reports, I got a whistler instead for a little more money, and I'm real glad I did....works better, longer range, and an actual strength meter, plus visual alert of Ka band, not just K/Ka at the same time.....oh yeah, and 3 city modes, not just one.....

Besides the fact he is using a cobra he also has it mounted toward the sky. Buying a good detector and mounting it level would be a good start.
