I've looked at the document that they're referring to in this video, "Martrydom in Islam versus Suicide Bombing", and nowhere in it have I found Maj. Hasan's name, or any reference to him. Could it be that he didn't write this, as stated in the video?

So true, I had a friend that served in Iraq. He was close to another officer that was about to retire. This officer was stationed in a "Close Watch" compound, helping other soldiers with PTSD, and other non-related symptoms (IN IRAQ!!! SEND THE HOME!!!) Months before he retired, a close watch soldier open fire on, and killing; the officer, female soldier, and himself.

Never even heard it on the news. Was part of Nightline but that was about it.

I would agree with you if it were not for his paper written about martyrdom vs suicied bombings. He clearly took the time to research the acceptable tennets of Jihad, and felt his actions were acceptable, and that of suicide bombing were not. So this Doctor who knew how to research used his intellect to justify his actions, so to me this is clearly motivated by his hate and justified with his religious convictions.

Sounds to me like the government was complicit in this, and transfered him to one of the biggest Bases in the world, where they knew he would go nuts, and they did it because he was Muslim, and so they would gain support from the American people to think that Muslims are the enemy.
