Feels like there is no variation in sound hit after hit as it should be in a real drum kit... all the hits sound pretty much the same to me, which makes the whole thing quite unreal. Is it possible to layer different sounds depending on different factors (velocity for example)?
in fact, I have some doubts about this V-Machine. I'm a keyboard man, and want to buy this module, but i need more information about this. This module is upgradeble? What a kind memory its use? Any vst/vsti run in there? is easy to use?
Please, can you solve these doubts about V-Machine?
Which vst Drums you can use for V-Machine? Groove Agent 1 2 3 ? Do you tested others?

awesome can i put vst from my toontrack superior 2.0 in it? how do you get it working with a external hard drive?
what type of cpu does it have are we talking intel?

Sure it is upgradeable, you can keep changing what is inside it for ever...
You can use external USB sticks and drives to increase the memory easily.
Not ALL VST/VSTi will run but a large amount of them, yes easy to use.
