For those who are curious about the new weapons ( L96, FAMAS, G53 etc) you need to buy the map pack Back to Karkand. When you do this you get something called "assignments" and if you complete them you will unlock the new weapons...watermelon

L96 is the best sniper rifle in my opinion. Highly accurate, making it easy to get headshots, 10 round clip size and what I love most is that it comes with a flash suppressor making it unique from all the other bolt-action sniper rifles.

@2506july BF3 i think is a very good game. Its totally different from mw because its more team based. Also the controls are not the sames as mw. but once you get used to it and play for a little while the game is really fun. best thing to do for this game is to get a bunch of friends and play a match. worth 60 bucks. Plus you wont rage as much as the call of duty games.

according to the weapon charts at symthic.com the l96 has a higher rate of fire (less time between shots) but a slower magazine reload time than the sv98. So wouldn't it be better than the sv98 for your aggressive recon play?

i like the l96 cuz the bullet exit speed is fast, and the drop is second best amongst the snipers.. you know what other gun has this bullet drop.. THE AN-94.. trust me.. with a heavy barrel and a scope its practically a SNIPER!.. 2 bullet burst is the best ;)
