I saw VH on the 1984 tour and sat about 20 feet away from the stage on Eddie's side and DLR came out and had that audience of 30,000 in the palm of his hand, truly amazing to see. Ed sees that as ultimately diminishing the public's demand for the band, and thus losing them money.

True, the Wolfgang model has been around for a while, I had one of the originals for many years and loved it, but this model is different. It looks the same but most of the components are upgrades form the original. Eddie just put his name to the first one, this model he tested till he got it right, big difference. The only thing I don't like is the price, 3000.00. But most signature models cost close to that so in that regard it's worth it. Thinking of getting one (another).

I have this guitar (vintage white) and it's hot as hell. It was on fire right out of the box. After a few weeks I turned the tension on the springs out a whole turn and a half. This loosened the tension a little. That is the only adjustment made.
He had a 1/3 of his tongue removed, quiting smoking now won't fix that, if there is going to be any more damage to his tongue, it's going to happen regardless if never takes another puff or not.

Eddie Van Halen is a good guitarist, but he's a hippie. He dropped out high school. Not only that, but he had been smoking since he was 13, and he caught lung cancer 9 years ago. The only reason why his voice sounds really shitty is cuz he had a third of his tongue removed. And he's still smoking. He also did drugs like cocaine, crack, and crystal method throughout the Van Halen career. And this ain't no joke. He should stop smoking. Cuz if he died, I wouldn't have seen him in concert.

Eddie Van Halen is a good guitarist, but he's a hippie. He dropped out high school. Not only that, but he had been smoking since he was 13, and he caught lung cancer 9 years ago. The only reason why his voice sounds really shitty is cuz he had a third of his tongue removed. And he's still smoking. He also did drugs like cocaine, crack, and crystal method throughout the Van Halen career. And this ain't no joke. He should stop smoking. Cuz if he died, I wouldn't have seen him in concert.

I tried one of them Wolfgangs, and they play really well. Too bad they're expensive. I want one of those. I want all the guitars that EVH has except for that dumb ol' Ernie Ball musicman axis guitar. Rock on!
