I wouldn't be too smug rob91b123, it's due to explode again. Keep your camera rolling and stand a little closer, that way we probably wouldn't have to put up with you wasting good space.... good luck Lichfield.
Is that what you call "classic". The only thing it is a classic of is showing your ignorance! You do not spell "devastation" as "devistation" - and you cannot even get the right volcano it seems. The last picure is from the Mt. St Helen's (Washington USA, just a few thousand kilometres on the other side of the globe than Krakatoa). That was in 1980, and the last picture is of that - and has nothing to do with Krakatoa at all!
@rob91b123 The funny thing is that you had nothing to say in return to that well thought out comment. so you deciding on putting the guilt trip on her to cover up the fact that your ignorance didn't go un-noticed.
The noise of this volcano could be heard from some parts of Australia and was the loudest sound recorded in all history! The smoke and dust travelled many miles across the sea. Krakatoa was the most powerful volcano,
what do you mean by call smth as an atomic bomb ? They can be very small (like Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs) but there can be also some powerful like for emaxple the Tzar Bomba (1000 times stronger than Hiroshima and Nakasaki bombs)
why would you thank Krakatoa for erupting?
