i think it being short is what makes it so amazing. Personally hate musicals and retarded things like this, but in small doses it really really adds style. They're not just showing that 'oh wow, we can do this!' they're showing they know WHEN to do this and HOW to use it efficiently. Love it.

This scene should have been extended and earlier scenes of Hanna and her father should have been cut out. I feel they waste a good chunk of time of Hanna with her father at the beginning but that doesn't add anything to the movie but she spend most of the movie with these people and they are like the first 'outside' people she connects with. The fact that they don't show the demise of these people is very anti climatic since they are the few characters you actually do care about.

Thanks so much for posting this! I absolutely adore this scene (and Tom H.)! It just captivates me every time I watch it! I thought Tom Hollander pulled out the big guns on this film. He should be nominated for something, if he doesn't, there's a real problem. He was just superb! I went in cheering for Cate Blanchett and came out cheering for Beckett. Just a fantastic film and fantastic talent from everyone involved in it. From the crew to the actors! (Oscar nod. Tom H. at least from me!)
